The allotments after first allotment of medical courses in medical stream have indicated that the Medical College, Kozhikkode was the most preferred college for MBBS course with last rank (SM) of allotment of 202 followed by Trivandrum Medical College ( Last rank-276) and Kottayam Medical College(Last rank- 402). Kozhikkode Dental College is the most preferred institution with last rank of allotment of 1482 followed by Trivandrum Dental college which had allotment up to 1655 medical rank. In other medical allied courses, the preferred courses were B.V.Sc,and B.Sc (Agriculture) courses with last ranks 3191,4278 respectively. The last rank of allotments to B.Sc (Forestry) and B.FSc (Fisheries) are respectively 4126 and 4708.
The candidates up to a rank of 4206 and 7829 were obtained allotment to MBBS and BDS courses in private self-financing colleges under state merit category.
Candidates with last rank of 1545 received allotment for B.Pharm course in government sector while 17706 was the last rank of allotment in self-financing pharmacy college.
The last rank of allotments under merit category in government engineering colleges after the second phase of allotment had indicated a different pattern leading with Computer Science Engineering (CS-3606) followed by Civil Engineering (CS-5654), Mechanical Engineering ( ME-5817), Electronics & Communications Engineering ( EC-6437), and Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EE-6524).The other courses are Agricultural Engineering Course (AG-6603), Diary Technology (DS-8016), Food Technology (FT-9125) and Food Engineering & Technology (FE-9163).
A leading demand for the Architecture course is observed in both government and self-financing architecture colleges. The last rank of allotments under Architecture (AR) stream was 165 and 1959 respectively for government and self-financing colleges .
