ഐ എ എസ് ലഭിക്കണമെന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരാൾ ആദ്യം ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു വിഷയത്തിൽ ബിരുദമെടുക്കണം. എന്നിട്ട്, UPSC നടത്തുന്ന സിവിൽ സർവീസസ് പരീക്ഷ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കണം. ഈ പരീക്ഷ മൂന്നു ഘട്ടങ്ങളിലായി നടത്തുന്നു. പ്രിലിമിനറി, മെയിൻ, ഇന്റർവ്യൂ. ഓരോഘട്ടം യോഗ്യത നേടുന്നവർ അടുത്ത ഘട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് പോകും. ഒരു വര്ഷം 5 -6 ലക്ഷം പേര് പ്രിലിമിനറി പരീക്ഷ എഴുതും. ഒഴിവുകൾ ഏതാണ്ട് 1000 വരം. അത് തന്നെ 24 വിവിധ സർവീസസിലേക്കാണ് . അതിൽ ഒന്നാണ് IAS . ഇത് തന്നെ വേണമെങ്കിൽ ഉയർന്ന റാങ്കു വാങ്ങണം. പരീക്ഷയെക്കുറിച്ചും അതിന്റെ ഘടനയെക്കുറിച്ചും അറിയാൻ, കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷത്തെ വിജ്ഞാപനം വായിച്ചു മനസിലാക്കുക.അത് കിട്ടുന്ന ലിങ്ക്, http://www.upsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/Engl_CSP_2017.pdf

ഞാൻ പ്ലസ് 2 biomatths ആണ് പഠിക്കുന്നത്.എനിക്ക് ഐ.എഫ്.എസ് (ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫോറെസ്റ് സർവീസ് ) ആണ് താല്പര്യം അതിനു ഫോറെസ്റ്ററി പഠിക്കണം എന്ന് നെറ്റിൽ കണ്ടു കേരളത്തിൽ തൃശൂർ അല്ലാതെ വേറെ എവിടെയെങ്കിലും ആ കോഴ്സ് ഉണ്ടോ ? എപ്പോഴാണ് അതിന്റെ എൻട്രൻസ്? എന്തൊക്കെയാണ് അതിന്റെ ഡീറ്റെയിൽസ് ?ദയവായി മറുപടി തരുമോ?

If the student is strong in Mathematics and Physics only, choose the engineering field. If not, do not think of engineering, There are science courses in Physics and Chemistry that can be thought of. Conventional courses and new generation courses in these areas are available.Biochemistry, Industrial Biochemistry, Electronics, IT, BCA, are some new generation courses. If he wants to move away from the normal science courses, some of the other areas that can be thought of are Design, Fashion Technology, Pharmacy etc.

For Nursing courses, applicant should have studied Physics - Chemistry - Biology subjects at Plus Two level. This is the preferred subject combination. But in some institutions others are also considered in the absence of those with these qualifications. But is is better to go for this course if the child has a good background of Biology. So when applications are invited by admitting agencies, apply for the same and see.

For Engineering and Architecture, top colleges in Kerala are the College of Engg Trivandrum (CET) and TKM Engg College Kollam
For All India level, the most demanded colleges are the NITs and IITs. Among NITs, those in southern states are more in demand like Warrangal, Surathkal, Tiruchirappally, calicut etc.
