Its BTech. Normal degree duration is 3 years and that of BTech it is 4 years. So the latter will have an advantage over the former normally.

Biotechonology degree course has scope especially abroad. But B Tech has scope even in the state.

All courses are good. To be particular Marine Science has more placement. Then comes CS and ME.
Is last rank given in website of cusat based on General rank or category rank?

Normally it is given in General Category. Allotment is based on that and not category rank.

It is normally valid for two years. But the GPAT 2018 exam score will be valid for three years which is for admissions till academic year 2020-21 only.
