As long as the course is there, you may get some benefit out of it. If you plan to go for research you may still get an exemption from taking up an entrance test for PhD Admission

You have to register with the Kerala State Paramedical Council or Paramedical Council of India, after completion of the course. Once you get the registration you will be able to take part in various selection processes.

In Kerala there is no entrance for Medical Allied. That is the reason why you did not get a Hall ticket. Admission is based on NEET rank

There is no specific requirement on the course to be studied at Degree level to pursue Journalism at Masters level. Any Degree would be fine. For example, for Calicut University MA Journalism and Mass Communication Program, those who have passed a Bachelor Degree course equivalent thereto and have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade Professional graduates will be considered for admission provided they secure

You have to score minimum 10 marks in each paper of the entrance examinations, SC/ST applicants need to attempt at least one question in each paper.
