PLEASE RESPOND TO MY QUESTION. I GOT ALLOTTED TO A MEDICAL COLLEGE -SELF FINANCING.IN FIRST ALLOTMENT.CAN I EXPECT FOR ANOTHER MEDICAL COLLEGE IN SECOND ALLOTMENT? (I HAVE BH RESERVATION) FOR THAT SHOULD A PERSON IN SAME CATEGORY MUST DETACH FROM COURSE? Will you pl. tell me sir how first and second allotments become different ? Is it sure more students will get opportunity in second allotment than first?

As long as there are higher options in your home page, you will be considered for the second round of allotment also. If a vacancy arises in State Merit or in your reservation category, your eligibility for that seat will be examined. Your allotment will depend on the number of candidates ahead of you in rank and also having reservation as applicable to you and also opted the same courses/colleges as you have opted.
The principle followed in each round of allotment is the same. The chances of movement in the second round will depend on the vacancies arising after the first round due to the non-joining/cancellation of admissions based on the first round allotments.
Sir, I Have got allotment in govt Dental college Kottayam.Is there any chance for me to get MBBS selection in higher allotment. Whether I have to join respected college on the scheduled date or I have to wait for second allotment .Whether three colleges namely(kannur med. college, karuna &SUC)will get affiliation this year &will be included in option list for second allotment. My rank -972& MUS resvrn rank -185.

You have to join the college now allotted to you after remitting the fee, to keep alive your chances of allotment to a higher option in the second round. You can examine the last rank positions to ascertain your chance of change to MBBS. Candidates with Medical Rank up to 891 have got allotment under MU category in Private Self-financing Colleges for MBBS in the 1st allotment.
Regarding the three Medical Colleges you have mentioned, clarity will be there before 7th September, it is expected.
I have got allottment in BMC, Kollam. I belong to OEC.What is the fee structure for me? How can I know more about this college?

I got 14050 rank in KEAM medical stream.Do I have any chance of getting MBBS in management seats in Kerala.Also I want to know about the recent fee structure for MBBS put forward by honourable highcourt of Kerala in management seats. I posted a letter to you , the day b'fore yesterday.I hav'n't received the reply for that doubt.

Dear Shabnam,

The management seats are filled by the respective managements and not by the Entrance Commissioner. Only the 35% of 50 % management seats in Co operative Medical College,Kochi is filled by the Entrance Commissioner. It is better to contact the respective managements for your admission. Pl. note that this is why your earlier question was not answered..

Your doubt is answered in the Prospectus. By taking a DD for Rs.100 in the name of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and giving it to his office you can obtain a Duplicate admission card. This will be of use on the time of admission. So try to go to CEE office personally and collect the Duplicate card at the earliest.
My sister's reg no.is 138139.in Engg.branch .Her rank is 13541.She excercised 71 options .In the 1st allottment she got the 27 th MGP in EE branch. But in the 2 nd ALLT.she got 50th option AWH CS branch.Thelast rank as per CEEs list for 29th 30th 31st option MLM is 14238 EC 18895 EE& 18895 CS Let me know WHY my higher options did not taken for consideration while allotting.

As per the information give by you, the candidate is eligible to get EC, EE and CS at MLM as per the last rank of the 2nd trial allotment. The option list has to be verified to ascertain the positions where you have put these three options. If you can mail the option list the matter can be verified.
Sir,
In the previous allotment I was alloted in University college,Karyavattom.Then I took a DD of Rs 6200 in favour of Entrance
Commissioner. Instead of submitting it in the notified branches of Canara bank I unknowingly sent it to Entrance Commissioner' office. Later I was informed that I had sent the dd to the wrong place and they told that they would send the dd back to me.But they are not sending it back. Now what should I do? Should I pay the fees once again when I will be allotted? What step should I take?

AS notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), the DD was to be submitted to any one of the notified branches of Canara Bank. You have sent the DD to the office of the CEE. If the DD sent by you is accounted in your name before the time for remittance of fee as per the first allotment, the amount of Rs.6200/- will be considered for the next allotment. This can be known in your home page when the next allotment is announced.

IF you get a seat for which you have to remit Rs.6200 in the allotment to be announced on September 1, and if the amount to be remitted by you is shown as 0, it means that the DD submitted by you to the CEE has been accounted for. Otherwise, the amount to be remitted will be shown as Rs.6200/-. In that case if you can collect back the DD from the office of the CEE, you can remit the same to one of the selected branches of Canara Bank before the time specified by the CEE for remittance of fee. If not, make the payment again, since it has to don within a specified time, and then get back the DD submitted earlier from the office of the CEE..
I got allotment to Govt college in first attempt and remitted fees at canara bank. But as the counselling procedure got cancelled I hadnt refunded the amount. In the second attempt I got trial allotment to same college. Is there any need to remit furthur fees.

The trial allotment is only to know the possibilities of getting an allotment. There is no guarantee that you will get the allotment that you got in the trail allotment in the real allotment which is to be announced on 1.9.2007. If you get a seat in a Government College in the actual allotment, then the fee already remitted by you as per the cancelled allotment, will be adjusted for the real allotment. But if you get an allotment for which the fee is higher than what you have already remitted, you will have to remit the balance amount within then due date.
I got trial allotment at Govt Engg. college Thrissur for EEE (both 1st and 2nd trial).I got alloment at GEC TCR for mech in first chance (cancelled allotment). I have got BH reservation.
My KEAM rank is 3456.Is GEC Thrissur a better college as compared to other college in terms of infrastructure and teaching. Is there any chance for me to get EC or CS. Please reply sir.

GEC, Trissur is a college that is in demand by the high ranking candidates, if you look at the last rank details. This is the College where the seats under State Merit for EC were filled up completely after those in TVE and TKM were completely filled up.

As per the last rank details of the trial allotment announced on 25th August, candidate with Engineering Rank 3257 has got trial allotment for CS at Govt Engg College, Trissur. For EC, the last candidate under BH to have got trial allotment in Govt Engg College, Trissur has rank 1296. Last year, candidate with lower rank than yours has got CS in Trissur under BH quota but not for EC. As per the trend you have a good chance to get CS in Govt Engg College Trissur, if not in the first round, in the subsequent rounds. Be optimistic.

As per the trends of the 2nd trial allotment, no candidate with this rank has got a trial allotment under State merit. But the chances of getting an allotment in the second round in Private Self-financing Colleges cannot be ruled out. You have to register options and wait.
