Yes. But this depends of your rank and the options submitted by you. You can go through the last rank details of the first round allotment, available in this website.

Those, who have passed qualifying examinations other than the HSE/VHSE conducted by Boards in Kerala, have to submit a certificate from any of the Unvierities in Kerala, showing that they are eligible for higher studies in the Universities in Kerala, based on the qualifying examination they have passed. Some Universities in Kerala have given some relaxations in this clause to candidates who have passed qualfying examination conducted by the CBSE/CISCE. Contact any of the Univesities in Kerala to know the details.

Please refer to Clause 11.7.1 of the Prospectus for Admission to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, 2007. A Medical Certificate as given in Annexure XVII(b) of the Prospectus 2007 is also included in the list of documents to be produced at the time of taking admission

My medical rank is 553. I got allotment to CMC Cochin on first allotment. Is there any chance for me to get ALP or TCM on second allotment?

The last rank allotted for MBBS in ALP is 514 and at TCM is 509. Last year, candidate with this rank of 553, did not get allotment in Govt Medical Colleges under SM for MBBS. But this year more seats are there at ALP. So your chances cannot be ruled out. There are so many factors that decide your chance. So wait and see. Even if you are to continue at CMC, do not get worried since you have got a seat for MBBS with Government rate of fee.

I BELONG TO SC CATEGORY ANDI GOT ADMISSION IN THE GOVT. SEAT OF A SELF FINANCING ENGG COLLEGE(SNG COLLEGE OF ENGG,KADAYIRUPPU). I HAVE ALREADY PAID THE FEE AS GIVEN IN THE WEBSITE(ie 1000RS) IN CANNARA BANK. I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER I HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION IN THE COLLEGE. It is understood that you will have to pay the admission fee, caution deposit, University fee etc at the time fo joining the college. Please contact the office of the CEE for details.
My son has been allotted a BDS seat
at RDC Selffinancing college. But he is not interested in it. He is not going to remit the fees or join the college. Now that four self financing Medical Colleges like Karuna, Gokulam have been given recognition, can he give options to these colleges without joining for the allotted BDS seat.

If options are invited for the 4 Medical colleges, he can give options to these 4 colleges. He will be considered only for these 4 options and not to the earlier ones since he would have lost his claims for those options as he has not remitted the fee for the first allotment.

The last candidates allotted seats under state merit for various courses available in ASI and FIT (in that order) in the first allotment announced on September 1, are as follows:

CS- 6903, 5895; EC- 5095, 4535; EE-9435, 7273. This is the preference shown by candidates. Now you can decide.

The last ranks allotted under EZ reservation for ME in TOC and VAS are 15340 and 13857. Your rank is 18592. Last year, as on 30.10.2006, candidates with this rank had got allotment at TOC under EZ quota. Anyway, join SHM, retain your options to the 2 collegs for ME among others and wait for the 2nd allotment.
During re-allotment by higher option,how the seats are allotted?

The principles followed in the regular allotment will be followed in the re-allotments also. The vacant seats available will be allotted to candidates considering their rank, reservation and option.
Medical council of India recognition to SUT,Kannur,Karuna and Gokulam Medical Colleges whether obtained and whether they will be included in the next Medical Allotment list.

As of now, no official announcment regarding allotments to these 4 colleges has been issued by the CEE. As per the information available in the website of the Medical Council of India, they have recommended for renewal of permission u/s 10(A) for 2007-08 in the four colleges.

Now the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India has to issue formal orders of approval. If that is given, then allotment can be made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations after inviting options from candidates in the Medical Rank list.
