Its been heard times n times in newspaper n TV tat many students who r already admitted to colleges in other states n NITs have got allotment in the first allotment....is ter any truth in tat...n wat r ma chans of entering MODEL engg college in management seat for cs...it has been observed a dramatic 1100 ranks decreased in MODEL for cs(from 3800 to 2700)....y is it so???

Any candidate included in the rank list can register options. Whether all of them are going to join the college or not can be confirmed only after the fee remittance and admission is completed. So there can be many non-genuine candidates in the allotted list.

It seem you are speaking about the drop in ranks in Management quota for CS in the first allotment as compard to those in trial allotments. That is the advantage of the trial allotment. More candidates would have definitely registered options to the Management seats for CS in MDL after seeing the last rank as per the trial allotment.

You have not specified you rank to assess your chances.

I ve rank 3433 in engg... now got allotment in SCT college...wats ma chance of entering MAC ,kothamangalam... Ba te way wich is better...mechanical in SCT or MAC????

Last candidate allotted ME at MAC in SM is 3404. You have a good chance to move to MAC in the next round. There is not much difference in preference between SCT and MAC among candidates as far as ME is concerned since the last allotted candidate at SCT under SM in this allotment has rank 3472. So decide yourself.

i got rank 507 in the MCA entrance examination which was conducted by the commisioner of entrance examinations kerala,is there any chance for me to get seat in any college...and also when the allotment will start?

The details regarding this year's allotment to MCA course have not been announced by the Entrance Commissioner so far.

As per last rank of the allotments made by CEE in 2006, you have chance to get allotment in a Private Self-f inancing College.
sir i have got allotment for (ME).i have already paid my fee. so what is the next steps i want to do.

Report in the College allotted, for taking admission to ME course at 9 am on 11.9.2007 (Tuesday) with the necessary documents as specified in Clause 11.7.1 of the Prospectus for Admission to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala 2007.
i got alloted to MANGALAM engg college for mechanichal .
my kmea rank is 20807(reservation claimed under EZ ).
i will join the college as per the schedule of cee.(already paid the fees)
after joining the college on 11th sep,is that necessary for me to attend the class starting on 13th sep
because i'm sure i would get alloted to any other colleges after the re- allotment.pls consider my difficulties with hostel n transportation..etc.
will there be any academic problems in future?

As per the schedule announced by the CEE, classes are to commence for all courses on 13.9.2007. So you are expected to attend the college on 13th September.

The last rank now allotted for BSc Agriculture is 3349. More changes are likley to take place in the second round. So you have a chance.
sir i got 17194th rank in engg entrance.and i got allotment in VAS for production engg.i have EZ reservation too.whats my chance for getting a seat in VAS for mechanical engg in 2nd allotment?

The last rank under EZ for ME at VAS as per first allotment is 13857. Nothing can be said now since there is a difference of nearly 3300 ranks between your rank and the last allotted rank. You have to wait and see.

i got allotment in a self financing college in thrissur in engineering counselingand i paid the fees at canara bank day b4 yesterday.but now i am thinking of joining the same college in management quota for another course.so i want to cancel my seat in allotment and want to get back the money i paid at canara bank.what is the last date for canceling my seat so that i can get my full fees amount back?what are the procedures i should follow?please help me?

If you do not join the college on the date sepcified by the CEE, your allotment will be automatically cancelled. The fee remitted by you will be refunded to you by way of DD by the office of the CEE after closing of admissions for 2007-08. You need not make any request for this.
I can't find my roll no in list of candidates included in minority community quota.I have no MU reservation since my annual income is beyond 2.5 lakh.But I have heard that 20% minority seats will be filled by not looking income but by merit.Then why can't I find my roll no in list?

Candidates were required to submit the community certificate from Village Officer before a specified date to be considered for Minority quota. If you have not submitted it, your name will not be there in the lsit.
I have got allotment in engineering stream for CS in UCE college Muttom.I have paid the fees.If I does not get any seat during the reallotment,is there a chance for losing my CS seat in UCE colleg?

Definitely not.

But if you get a change based on your options, you will lose the CS seat at UCE
