Candidates below your rank have got allotment for some courses like PO, PT in Govt Supported Engg Colleges and in AG in KAU College in the first allotment. It has to be presumed that you had not opted these courses/colleges. Since your options are not known your chances for allotment to a specific branch cannot be assessed. However, candidates very close to this rank, but below it,  have got allotment to some branches (EE,EI,IT etc) in Govt Supported Engg Colleges as well as in KAU College(DS). Changes can be expected in the next round.  

Going by the last ranks of the first allotment and of 2006,  you have a fairly good chance to get any one of these options.

The last rank for CS at ICE in the first round under MU category is 14634. There is a rank difference of almost 6000 beteween this and your rank. But in 2006, candidates with this rank had got allotment in this college for CS under MU category. Anyway you will know about it in less than 24 hours. Do not lose hope.

The results of certain candidates are withheld for want of Marklists of the qualifying examination/other documents. You may contact the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and ascertain the actual reason for withholding the result. (Phone: 0471 2332120 or 2338487). If you have some friends at Trivandrum, ask them to enquire and let you know the actual position.

University of Kerala has recognised these courses. Eligibility certificate can be obtianed by submitting a duly filled in application form along with the fee, attested copies of degree certificate, course certificate and TC from the institution where the candidate studied last, to ‘the Registrar, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’. Application can be downloaded from the site http://www.keralauniversity.edu/forms/index.htm. About 375 more seats in 15 Self- financing Colleges are available in the 2nd round for BSc Nursing. So the chances cannot be ruled out completely. But since you are in the Engineering rank list also, remember that your allotment to Nursing depends on the position of the options you had given.

Candidate with rank 12719 was the last allotted for AG at KCT in the first allotment under EZ category. Candidates with rank up to 15710 got this course under this category in 2006. So it seems you have a fairly good chance to get allotment in the next round.

The last rank allotted EC in MDL in the first round under SM is 865. Your rank being very close to that, the chances of a change cannot be completely ruled out.

As per the schedule announced on 9.8.2007, there is no mention about the activities related to allotment beyond 26.9.2007 or a third allotment. You may visit the site www.cee-kerala.org regularly to know the latest position related to the allotment process. You have to wait for the announcement by the CEE regarding a third allotment. In case there is a third allotment, you will get a chance to cancel higher options before the actual allotment. If you are satisified with the 2nd allotment you may get, and do not wish to have another change, you may cancel all the remaining options then. But if you still desire a change to some of the options, retain them and cancel the undesired ones only.
