In addition ot MSc Botany, Botany graduate can take up courses in disciplines such as Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Mmicrobiology , Environmental science, Sericulture technology , Food science etc. For courses in Biotechnology or Bioinformatics, you must have some basic skills in Mathematical or you should have studied Mathematics at the Plus Two level. Try to identify your taste.
I got allotment in Nehru college for ECE in the second alllotment. Now I would like to cancel my higher options. From which site can I view my options and cancel it?

Visit the site www.cee.kerala.gov.in for cancelling the higher options. The facility will be available up to 5 pm on October 8th.

Visit the site www.cee.kerala.gov.in, Enter your Home Page and enter the number '0' against the higher option you want to cancel and click the 'update' button there. View the option list to ensure that the deletion has taken palce. You will get this facility till 5 pm on 8th Cctober in the third phase of allotment.
My son is appearing for plus 2 (12th Std.) CBSE Exams in March 2008. For his higher studies what all courses he can enroll? Is it possible for him to do B.Tech. Engg. in Inormation Technology in any University in India or abroad?

If he is in the science stream with Mathematics and Physics, he can take up B.Tech. There are so many streams available after Plus two. Engineering, Architecture, Medical and Para Medical, Law, Hotel Management, Regular Degree Courses, Accountancy, Fashion Technology, Tourism etc are some of the fields he can choose after his plus two, depending on his interest.
I am a +2 student studying Bioinformatics. Recently I read about nanotechnology.Is it possible for me to study nanotechnology in future?(I don't have Maths). If possible which are the colleges offering nanotechnology?

Nanotechnology is an interdisciplinary subject which essentially combines Physics, Chemistry, Bio- informatics, Bio- technology, etc. Nanotechnology courses are generally avialable at the M.Tech level and beyond. Some eligible degrees are Bachelors degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science or M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics Science/ Material Science/ Electronic Instrumentation or equivalent etc. The Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh, Defence Material Store, Research and Development Establishment (DRDO), Kanpur; Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore; National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Delhi; National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune; IIT, Roorkee are some of the Instittues ofering courses in Nanotechnology. Amity Instittue of Nanotechnology, Noida also offers MTech

Yes. To Government/Aided/Government supported Self- financing Colleges only. You can rearrange/delete your higher options by 5 pm on 8th October. You can also register option to the newly sanctioned CE in MES.
I have completed BCom and am now joining for MCom in Calicut University through distance education. I would like to join for MCA of IGNOU next year. Is it possible to do two PG's of different Universities?

Generally, it is not possible to do two courses simultaneously in recognised Universities.
