It is not clear what do you really want to know about Lateral Entry. This year's lateral entry exam and admission are over. Normally the announcement appears in the month of July and the Test is conducted the next month.

Lateral Entry Scheme is intended to admit meritorious Diploma holders to the Second year/ Third Semester B.Tech Course to acquire a Degree in Engineering. Lateral Entry Scheme is approved by Government of Kerala as per G.O.(MS)No.156/2002//H.Edn. dated 13.11.2002 in 10% additional sanctioned seats.

Candidates shall have passed Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent and must have a minimum of 60% marks for the Diploma. The relaxation of 5%marks will be allowed to SEBC candidates. For candidates belonging to SC/ST community a pass in the qualifying examination will be sufficient. Those who are appearing for the final year Diploma will be eligible to apply subject to the condition that they will produce the marklist at the time of counselling. Maximum age as on the last date of submission of application will be 28 years.

State level Entrance Test for a duration of 2 hours will be conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram for the selection of candidates for admission to second year/third semester B.Tech course under the Lateral Entry Scheme. Candidates shall secure a minimum of 20% marks for the entrance test.

It is still not decided. Wait for some more time.
I had got Govt allotment in July 2007 (which was subsequently cancelled), and paid the Management fee of Rs 50,000 at Thodupuzha Engi college. When the first round allotment came the next time, I did not register any options as I wasnt interested. I was told that the fees paid previously would be returned after the admission process for the year 2007 is over. Please could I know how I can get the fees back and when?

Admission for 2007-08 was closed only 10 days back on 31.10.2007. It will take some weeks to settle the fee accounts related to admissions. You will get the amount back but it may take a few weeks to complete the formalities. You need not send any request for that. The amount will be sent from the office of the CEE by DD.
When is the last date to send application form for AIEEE 2008?

Notification for AIEEE 2008 has not been issued so far. You can visit www.cbse.nic.in or http://www.mb4education.com/ to get the details, once AIEEE is notified.

I am studing for B.Tech(1st year) in Kollam. I got admission under Merit-com-means quota. My family income at the time of admission was below 2.5 lacks. My parents are teachers. Now their salary is increased . Our income is slightly abow 2.5 lacks. Now I want to apply for the scolership under merit com means quot. Can I apply for it now? Our family income last year was below 2.5lacks

Merti-cum-means admission for professional courses was not there this year for BTech. The continuance of the scholarship if any you are receiving based on the family income , depends on the terms and conditions of the scholarship. Please verify this with the college authorities.

The sale of applications for the Bachelors and Masters Programmes of NIFT for 2008 session begins on November 12. You have to submit only one application now. I am a regular B.Tech student.Is there any private registration for MBA in Calicut University? If yes, what is the procedure? I am refering to private registration and not about the distance education.

The Department of Commerce and Management Studies of Calicut University offers a Part-time MBA Programme. Please visit http://www.universityofcalicut.info/depts/start.htm for details. As per information available, there is no Private Registration for the course.

Applications should reach the "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 12th November, 2007. However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote localities specified in para 6 of the Notification, the last date for receipt of application by Post/Speed Post only (not by Hand or by Courier) is 19th November, 2007. Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1990 and not later than 1st July, 1992 are eligible.
