B.Ed is a one-year course. In Private Self- financing B.Ed Colleges, the fee in 2007-08 was Rs.29,000/- . The admissions under Government Quota this year was based on an Entrance Examination conducted by CEE. The Notification was issued in the first week of June and the Entrance Examination was held in the last week of July. Details of this year's admission is available at http://www.cee-kerala.org/bed.htm. Universtiy B.Ed Centres conduct seperate admissions. You may visit the website of the Universtiy concerned to get more details.
I am a Engg. diploma holder in electronics. Having more than 4 Yrs of Idustry experience. Now I want to do B.Tech/BE in this. Pls suggest any option where I can do it part time in Banglore location only.

For diploma holders there are two options. One is to apply for State entrance examination or in the case of B'lore there is a Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK). This is for first year admission. Besides this, as per AICTE provisions, you can apply for lateral entry also, by which you get admission to the third semester of the course. For COMEDK admissions log in to http://www.comedk.org/

The official Notification can be expected at any time. May be in a week or two, it should come. Last year, the sale of application was through selected branches of Canara Bank within Kerala and outside. The fuill list of sale outlets will also be released with the Notification. It will also be available at www.cee-keral.org The list of sale outlets in 2007 are available at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2007/exam/NOTFCN-E-07.pdf. See the list for 2008 when it is released. Candidates without any reservation facility had the facility to use a downlaoded form, in 2007. So wait for the Notification.

Sir,
My daughter is studying in std XII in Hindi Prachar Sabha School, at Chottanikkara. I expect more than 80 % marks in her exam.
She is also preparing for the entrance exam. but the State Govt is l not ready with the process.
Meanwhile I searched in Karunya University website and I understood that more than one lakh rupees will have to be spent every year for getting a B.Tech in ECE. I can spend Rs.50,000/- as fees per year
We expect a rank around 7000 in state entrance exam. Will she get admission for EC in any reputed college in Ernakulam Dist.? Shall I try for any other University outside Kerala ?

About Kerala professional college admission nothing can be said still now. The picture is so complex. But considering the last year experience , your daughter may get a seat in a self financing engg. college in Ernakulam. The fee structure also is not yet decided. What to do ? Let us be positive for the timebeing.
My date of birth is 21/06/86 is there any chance for me to do Bsc. in Nautical science. Because I am trapped in wrong course i.e. GP RATING and I am not getting job after GP rating.

Dear Sri. Maurya, What is your qualifying exam before joining GP Rating? For Indira Gandhi National Open University's Nautical Science BSc course the age limit is 20 for plus two, 22 for degree holders and 24 for engg. graduates. Since you are born in '86 you are around 22. Without knowing your qualification how can we give a reply? Anyway click on www.ignou.ac.in and read the details.
Sir,
I am working in a private co. in Sadui Arabia, completed pre-degree from Calicut university and 36 years old. Now I want to take degree in Englih (main). Is it possible for me to do so either through regular course or through distance education? pls. advise me.

Dear Saji, age is not a factor for education. Since you have not mentioned whether you have passed pre degree or not , it is difficult to say about your regular degree admission. If you have passed pre degree you can register for regular degree . Even otherwise you can register for degree by open university method. Pl. visit www.ignou.ac.in for details.
