Sir, I am studying in Bangalore( from Nursery till 2nd PUC). I am applying for Kerala Entrance exam. I am born in Kerala and I have got a birth certificate from the Muncipal Authority, Pandalam. Moreover my parents are Keralites and have finished their education upto PG level from Kerala.Is my birth certificae alone sufficient to prove my nativity as Kerala.

Your birth certificate, showing your place of birth in Kerala is a valid document accepted for giving 'Keralite' status. No other certificte is required for natiivity if attested copy of this is submitted (see Clause 6.1.1(a) (iv) of Prospectus on Page 17)
I would like to know if there is any instution in Trivandrum that has 'Drawing' as a course. If not, where can one join for such a course.

You have not specified your qualification. College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum offers Bachelor of Fine Arts course after Plus Two. Drawing and Painting is a specialisation for this course.

Sale of Application will commence on 25th February. Examination will be held on May 10. Applicant should have passed +2 stage of 10+2 system or equivalent examination in any stream with English as one of the subjects. Candidates appearing in +2 or equivalent examination in 2008 can also apply. Upper age limit is 22 years as on 1st July 2008 in case of General and PH Categories and 25 years on 1st July 2008 for SC & ST Categories. Please see the site http://www.nchmct.org/
My son is applying for KEAM 2008.We are muslims.But our annual income is more than the limit (3 Lakhs).Is it recommended to get only the community certificate in the application from the village officer with out income certificate.Will it be use ful to get admission in management quota or any other reserved quota in any medical colleges,like MES.Kindly reply.Will it be useful in any way and is it allowed?.

As per the norms for reservation under SEBC, you will not be eligible for reservation since your annual family income crosses the limit of Rs.2,50,000/-. So there is no need to give income certificate for reservation purpose. However, there is a clause 7.5.5 in the Propsectus which relates to income certificate in general. Please go through that. If you are interested in that, you may give the income certificate.
Is there any undergraduate course in Civil Engineering /Architecture , that a plus two ( Commerce ) holder can do ?

As per the guidelines of Council of Architecture, a student who has completed Plus two with 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as a subject is eligbile for admission to the B.Arch Course. The clause reads as follows: "No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/ she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level.". As per this, a candidate who has studied Mathematis as a paper at plus two level, should be eligible for admission ot B.Arch course. You may contact the University concerned for further details. Commerce students are not eligible for admission to Civil Engineering course.

I would like do BFA in Correspondence. Is there any option available for same, any related subject is availabe?

One of my friends told that there is no value for Annamalai univesity Degree Programme. Is it true? I am planning to join BSc visual communication under the University of Annamalai.

As of now no institution is conducting BFA course by correspondence in India. About Annamalai University, what your friend told is not correct. Their regular courses are valid. But the open uty courses conducted by Annamalai University are invalid for higher studies ( PG ) as per the verdict of Madras High Court, the other day.

I have seen an advertisement about Deemed University . I want to know about Deemed university and its functions in India .What is difference between Deemed University and other university . Is it govt. Approved or other private Institution. What type of courses are conducted there. I want to know more about Deemed University and its functions.

It is an independent institution, given the status of a University, by the Universtiy Grants Commission. It can function on its own, run courses, conduct examinations, award degrees etc. like other Universties. To give an example, BITS Pilani is a Deemed Universtiy while 'Kerala' is a Universtiy.
Rajasthan vidyapeeth deemed university conducting diplomas& degree in engineering through distance education is it recognised by kerala university or AICTE

Rajasthan Vidyapeeth is a deemed uty. It got this status in 1987. But it is not found that they run engg. courses by distance mode. Pl. visit their site www.jrnrvu.org
