Could you please let me know the names of colleges in Kerala offering BBA course?

Dear Balachandran, Why do you think about BBA? What is the special benefit of joining for BBA? Actually it is an unwanted course. By simply passing the BBA you can not get a job which is specially desinged for Business Administrative executives. And to join for MBA, BBA holders have no special consideration. Think once more. Pl. don't waste your precious time and money.
I have completed and holding Degree Certificate of BBA course from Kalinga University, Raipur in 2004.Could you please tell is this Certificate can be used to apply for Jobs in India or other countries as that university does not exist anymore. Your comments will be highly appreiated.

Dear Naseer,

Your letter needs a detailed reply. The person who is giving you this reply has written a series of articles in Mathrubhumi Daily about the mushrooming of private universities in Chhatisgarh during the reign of former congress CM Ajith Jogi. I think it was in 2004 that Prof.Yeshpal had to approach the apex court to question the unconstitutional set up of these universities and the court had nullified the existence of more than 150 such private universities, the list of which is available in this portal's VERDICTS link. I shall quote briefly from the verdict so that the reply will be self explanatory.

" Mere conferment of degree is not enough. What is necessary is that the degree should be recognized. It is for this purpose that the right to confer degree has been given under Section 22 of UGC Act only to a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or State Act or an institution deemed to be a University under Section 3 or an institution specially empowered by an Act of Parliament to confer or grant degrees. Sub-section (3) of this Section provides that "degree" means any such degree as may, with the previous approval of the Central Government, be specified in this behalf by the Commission by notification in the Official Gazette. The value and importance of such degrees which are recognized by Government was pointed out by a Constitution Bench in Azeez Basha v. Union of India AIR 1968 SC 662."

In this background how can you gain with your "degree" is a question. To be precise, it is impossible. Otherwise you will have to approach the court.
Does the CBSE Board issue certificates other than the mark lists to students who have passed the 10th and 12th Board exams ?
Kindly advise.

Certificates are issued after the results are declared through the school where the candidate has undergone the course. Ensure that it is collected in June/July itself from the school as they are important documents that would be required in future.
I have cheaked my application form status and i noticed that after my name a letter 'P' is added.May I know what's the purpose of it?

It is only based on a Preliminary capturing of data as per the application reeived in the CEE office. Corrections will be effected in due course. Wait for some time.

1. Whether she can apply for MBBS Admission test before passing 12th examination. Now she is appearing 12th examination.

1 . For JIPMER entrance , only those who have passed the qualifying exam ( + 2 ) can apply.

2. JIPMER form is available directly only from from JIPMER campus. Otherwise you can buy it by postal or apply by online.

I have seen an advertisement about MBBS entrance examination of Pondicherry last day. MY daughter is wishsing to apply for the entrance test. Now she is preparing for her 12th Board examination in Delhi. I want to know that whether she can apply for the entrance exam .before passing the 12th examination.If so please tell us where we can get the application form and prospectus in Delhi anywhere. they are mentioned about it.
So please give us details as early as possible.

I am a keralite but working in karnataka.My son has never studied in kerala and he is completing the 1st puc this year studying the state syllabus.I am very much interested to get him admitted in any of the engineering colleges in kerala through the entrance exam. My question is whether the preparation that he makes here for a seat in karnataka is sufficient for the kerala entrance also? How both the tests of karnataka and kerala differ from each other in terms of syllabus?

Generally, the syllabus for the entrance examinations after the Plus Two stage is based on the syllabus of the qualifying examination. It is not likely that there would be much changes in the syllabus of Plus Two in differnet states. Anyhow, do not take any risk. The syllabus of Kerala Entrance for 2008 is now available in the site www.cee-kerala.org. Have a look at it and arrive at a conclusion.

It is only an initial message about the receipt of your application in the office. There is nothing to worry about it. Wait till you get the Admit Card. If you find any problem then, contact the CEE's office for correction.
