To continue CBSE in Singapore will you recommend Global International School or Delhi DPS Singapore ? Parents are complaining about the first in http://forabettergiis.blogspot.com/ and the DPS is shown as No.2 school. Global International students seem to be happy and getting along. How to choose ?

The school you wish to pursue your studies will depend on various factors. A factor which seems to be favourable for one may not be favourable for another. The reputation of the school is a very important factor. The results of the school in examinations may be another factor. The teachers in the institution can be a third factor. The facilities in the school can be another factor. So on. Your personal preferences may also influence the selction of the school. Do not go completely by what others say. Try to make a personal assessment of the matter and take a decision after discussin with your parents. If there has been any study by an approved agency and a rating given to the school, that can also be taken into consideration. If you have the will, you can get adjusted to any environment.

I am a first semester MCA student ( self financing college ) in kerala university. If i discontinue/ get transfer from
this college to another self finacing college, should i remit the full fees of the course to our college ? what is the rule of AICTE ?

The rules regarding payment of fees are generally different on discontinuing a course and on getting transfer from one college to another. The institution may ask for remittance of balance fee if you discontinue a course. There is generally a Provision for liquidated damages in such cases. You have to verify the Prospectus for this. You may also contact the office of the college where you are studying. If you get a transfer form one college to another which is generally done in the second year, as per University rules, you will not have to pay any additional fees. Anyway rules vary from University to University. So contact the Academic Section of the Universities concerned to get more details.

There is no course which is 'the best'. Every course you consider has its merits and demerits. So, what you choose should be one that is decided by weighing the merits and demertis and which you feel is the best for you in the given circumstances. If you turn out to be an employable person (meeting the standards fixed by the employer) any branch in engineering would be OK, as there are enough opportunitie for Engineering graduates. There are plenty of Institutions in Kerala itself for doing B.Tech. Why not try to get admission in Kerala itself?
