I have registerd for MA English by distance education at University of Madras. I saw a news about rejection of approval of PG courses. Is MA English distance course approved by our universities like Kerala, Calicut etc..?

Recognition of a course undergone in any University by a candidate, by another University, depends on various factors. Each case is taken up individually. Although Universities give a list of courses of other Universities recognised by it, eligibility is issued in each case. So you have to apply for an eligibility certificate from the University concerned based on the courses you have undergone and thereby ascertain whether the course you have done is recognised or not. So please contact the academic section of the University concerned.

Dates have not been announced so far. Syllabus can be obtained from the College where you are studying.

Bioinformatics is the field of science in which biology, computer science, and information technology merge into a single discipline. Bioinformatics is the analysis of biological information using computers and statistical techniques; the science of developing and utilizing computer databases and algorithms to accelerate and enhance biological research. Bioinformatics is more of a tool than a discipline, the tools for analysis of Biological Data.
Is there any difference between Singapore diploma courses and Indian diploma courses? Representatives from RP Polytechnic , Singapore say that there is a lot of difference. Can I trust them? please give me details. Thier site address is

It is a fact that the world wide approval of courses varies depending on the institution. The value of a course may depend on the higher courses you are looking for after the particular course. When you opt for joining a course in an institution, try to assess the past records of the institution, the acceptability of their courses world wide etc. This can be done by studying the past data and other details of the institution. You can also discuss with the alumni of the institution.

We quote here a sentence from the above link : " The activities of Lalithakala Mahasamsthanam takes place in the address No.111, vijaynagar, 4th Stage, 2nd Phase, Near Hinkal Bogadi Ring Roadm Mysore". So the address is ok. But no telephone number is given.

Pl. specify the geographical location too. If you the names of institutions in Kerala, note the names of Arena Multemedia, Image, Toonz Animations, Keltron etc... to name a few.
Kerala medical entrance examination will start on 23rd on this month. Question Papers of Kerala Medical entrance is not available as such on sale. Candidates appearing for the examination can take the question paper with them after the examination. So, you will have to get the previous question papers from candidates who have written this examination in earlier years. Some agencies have brought out these question papers in Book form. You may enquire with leading book sellers. If children of any of your friends is taking examination at Delhi this year, try to get in touch with them so that you can get copy of question paper of 2008 after the examination. They may be having question paper of previous years also.

If you are a student of S1S2, you can contact the Department in the college you are studying and get the syllabus or else you can contact the academic section of the University concerned and get information on it. It should be available with your friends doing the course. It must be available at some leading book stalls also.
What will be the cut-off marks of AIPMT 08 Preliminary Examn so as to get selection for Final Examn 08.
