My son has 515 marks in keam( medical). Can we expect a rank within 1000 and expect an admission to MBBS either in govt/self financing?

Admission in private self financing college may be possible. But it is not likely that your son comes in the first 1000. See, this is only a general statement based on previous experiences. This year's ranks depend on the general performance of candidates which may be different from that of last year.

Dear sir,
AIPMT Preliminery rank list, the cut off mark has come down by nearly 100 marks between last year and now. What can be the reason?. Can we expect the same trend for the Kerala medical entrance also?. What will be the minimum mark expected for admission from the Govt: list.Last year it was around 1250 no?. Kindly give your advice.

What do you mean by 1250 out of a total of 960 ? As you noted carefully, the cut off mark of AIPMT Preliminary has come down this time. Whether that trend will prevail upon KEAM also is something unpredictable. From this Ask Expert link itself you can view the questions of students who claim to have scored higher marks. Pl. wait for some more days.
