He can either join the BCom course or preapre for CA or ICWAI or ACS. The latter three are tough subjects and the pass percentage also is below 20pc. But the future will be bright. In Trissur, there is faciilty for oral coaching for these courses. There are other options also.

Among the branches you indicated EC is the most sought after course. It has scope. But pl. keep in mind that it is not only the branch , but your capability also counts. The employers generally test whether you know the subject. Then it is the communication skill which matters.

Can I get an admission in kerala govt colleges ?

Admission to the govt engg. colleges in Kerala is not done on the basis of AIEEE. It is based on the entrance ranklist to be published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala and it is called KEAM in shortform. In Kerala at NIT, Calicut 50 percent seats are reserved for Keralites. No other institution in Kerala admits students from the AIEEE ranklist. You can expect a seat in some other colleges outside the state, particularly northern states.
sir,
My score for AIEEE 2008 is 147 .Can you please tell me about the possibility of my admission on merit basis in near by NITs.

By merely knowing the score we cannot arrive at a conclusion. Every year there are variations in general performance of candidates which is the key factor in deciding the ranks.
