Sir, how many questions were eliminated from Paper I and Paper II for KEAM Medical Entrance 2008? Some colleges insist on 50% marks in KEAM-2008 for admission. What would be 50% (of Paper I & II combined) taking into account the questions in both Paper I and II that were invalid? Thanks and regards.

You can view the details of deletions from Entrance Commissioner's site. Click here for it. Towards the latter part of your question, read this paragraph which is taken from the Medical Council Regulations. It is self explanatory.

"In case of admission of the basis of Competitive entrance examination under clause (2) to (4) of this regulation, a candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics,. Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in Physics Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in clause (2) of regulation 4 and in addition must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of such competitive entrance examination by securing not less then 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology competitive examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribes or other Backward Class the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination be 40% instead of 50% as stated above."
sir, I acquired 6854 rank in keam. Will I get seat for EC in any govt colleges? Also what rank should I get for marine engineering in cusat. Please reply.

As per last year figures the last rank for EC in govt colleges was 3771. But in self financing colleges under govt it was 8773. It means you have a chance for EC in govt supported self financing colleges. As far as Cusat marine engg; nothing could be said now. Their entrance exam is on 14 and 15 June. Before writing the exam what is the use of knowing the rank. If possible, try to have the best rank . Wish you all the best.
I would like to know the fees structure in the colloeges under the N category(Govt self finance).I woud also like to know if there are scholarships available in self finance colleges.

Last year the fee in these colleges was that of the govt colleges. But this year's picture is not yet clear. You will have to wait for some days (or weeks!).

I got 6169 rank in KEAM medical .
I had taken sanskrit in plus two.Is there any chance of getting a seat for BAMS in merit in govt. aided colleges. Can I hope a seat in agriculture?

The last rank last year for BAMS in the 'G' category was 3081 and in self financing colleges it was 5433. The 'G' section includes aided colleges also. You can try for their management quota seats. In Agriculture the last year figure was 5805. It may vary depending on the trends. There are no colleges for Agriculture under SF category.

Bio medical engg is connected with the manufacturing and maintenance of medical equipments like ECG,EEG, Scanners of different varieties etc. You will get the syllabus from engg college's(where this course is available) website. Job opportunities are at the medical eqipment manufacturing companies and large scale hospitals.

The last rank published does not include the 50% seats under Management quota of Private SF colleges, but includes the 35% Management seats in Govt Owned SF Colleges. The category is entered with code MG in the last rank table. Last year only 50% seats in Private SF colleges that entered into a seat sharing agreement with Govt were filled by CEE.
I belong to the O.E.C category and it was as such given in the KEAM application form.But when the income certificate came in the site it was given that i am of backward hindu.What should i do to change it and give O.E.C?

If you have given the certificates as prescribed along with the application, you should get the claim, if eligible. If it has not been granted, you may represent your case to the CEE with supporting documents (copy of the documents submitted with the application)
