The seat ration for 2008 is not finalised. For last years trends, visit the KEAM Last rank link in this portal.
I got the rank 19592 in kerala engineering entrance at open merit.But I stands at 296 th Rank in L.C. Category list.I also passed +2 Kerala HSE board exam with 75% of mark.But I have only 55 marks for mathematics out of 100. So can I get an Admission in any of the Government engineering collages under Kerala university for the course of Electronics & Communication ? If yes please inform me about the ideal government collages in kerala.Please also associate the Fees & Deposits for the respective collages that above mentioned.

The last ranks of 2007 are given at http://www.mb4education.com/static/downloads/LastRank2007.pdf. Only 50% marks is needed for Engg Admission. The fee structure for 2008 has not been finalised
I got 577 rank in KEAM 2008.I prefer ECE.Resurvation:MU.Can i get seat in CET.

The last rank for EC under MU resrevation in CET in 2007 was 388. Any way give options.
1.Sir, Iwould like to know in brief about EC,MEC,EE&PP.I mean wat they teach in these branches.Ialso wantu know about thier scope in India as well as foreign.
2.Sir,I wantu know whether EC in kannur or EEin kothamangamalam is better course to be preffered.I would be very grateful to u if u would answer my pending doubts.Thanq for ur advise sir.

ELectrical and Electronics Engg is the study of power generation, transmission, distribution, utilisation of electrical power, Protective systems, design and manufacture of electrical machines, maintenance of electrical devices and lines, lamps, illumination systems, electric locomotion, cables, analog & digital electronics, communication engineering, microprocessor & its applications, control systems, and microprocessor based system design etc. Electronics and Communication Engg is the study of elements of electronic components and circuits, solid state devices, network theory, communication engineering, telephone and fax, pulse circuits, linear integrated circuits, digital electronics, VLSI, computer organisation and architecture, control and guidance, microprocessor based system design, radio and television engineering, electronic instrumentation, microwave integrated circuits, optical communication, radar and navigation aids, process instrumentation, and consumer electronics.
Mechanical Engg includes research, development, design, manufacture, and testing of tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices, study of internal combustion engines, steam and gas turbines, thermal power plant machinery, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, industrial production equipment, robots used in manufacturing etc. Producation Plant Engg emphasis is on practical knowledge and skills that are essential for the efficient running of manufacturing industries where production machinery is closely integrated with the control system. Tye study also includes essentials of management, elements of electrical and electronics engineering etc.

All branches have plenty of openings provided you meet the requiremetns of the industry

If you prefer a college do that way. If you prefer a particular course, do not go for the college.

MAC is little older than KNR
To be considered for 2nd allotment is it necessary only to remitt the fees in the bank or should we have to remitt the fees and join the college alloted to us.

You have to join the Colleges as per schedule after the remittance of fee. If you do not join the college, you will lose the allotment. Anyway see the conditions of reallotment, as and when it is notified.
my sister got 1336 in medical entrance,
she have 126 under ezhava category.what is her chance of getting admission at Alappuzha & other self financing medical college which have made agreement with the government

I would like to know whether Kerala students can get into CE trivandrum wid der all india ranks..I enquired at the college and they said that der r no seats under aieee..then may i know how students from north india,andamans and other states study in that college

There are no seats in CET filled based on AIEEE ranks. But there are seats under Reciprocal quota, Govt of India Nominations etc in this college. These are seats for candidates of other states.

They are the OPEN Category seats where any candidate is eligible to get allotment as per rules.
my rank in keam is 802 and category list (MU) is 170. what is my chance getting admission at Alapphuzha, coop. Kochi and Pariyaram? If I get Pariyaram what will be the fees. Last year what was the fee structure there. Pls reply me

The chance of getting allotment in a college cannot be predicted now since it depends on the choice of candidates having ranks ahead of you. The last ranks of an year can indicate the possibility of getting allotment in a stream. The last ranks in a college can also be a guding factor but it need need not work always in that way. Your chances for allotment to MBBS can be examined by looking at the last ranks of 2007. At Pariyaram, the fee in 2007 was Rs.130,000/-The fee for 2008 has not been announced.
Respected sir,i got 2904 rank in kerala medical entrance.i wish to go for bds.but i have only 49.89% ie 479 in marks in kerala medical entrance .so sir is there any cumpulsary to get exact 50% in kerala medical entrance for students under muslim reservation.will i get a seat under self financing colleges in 50:50.sir please reply immediately. You have been included undr MU category for MBBS/BDS at position 675. See the category list puiblished on 11th June. Those with MU reservation need only 40% marks in Entrance. So be relaxed. As per trends of 2007, you have a chance to get BDS in SF College. Good Luck!
