C++ is common to all branches of BTech in the first year. MS Office has nothing to do with the software. It is for using computer, not for programming. If you are interested you can select EC or CS or IT or EE.

I have 3595 state rank in AIEEE2008.What is the use of state rank? Am I eligible for any college with this rank?

Admission norms in NITs are changed from this year. Hence state rank has no special significance. The online counselling has already been started today. Read the news reports about it in this portal's News Link.

Arun, did you go through the Last Ranks table given in the homepage of this portal? Assess yourself taking into account last year's position. Keep in mind that there may be slight variations every year.
My Kerala engg. entrance rank is 33,231. I'd like to know whether I'll get an admission for CSE in a gud college under the SC reservation scheme.

sir, i have secured all india rank of 23798 and state rank 889 in aieee 2008.
I heard there is 50% seat allotment to CUSAT via aieee. If it is true then wat are my chances.Also i have got 237 marks in CUSAT entrance. Can you tell which rank can i get for this mark?

There is no provision for 50pc reservation for AIEEE winners in Cusat. It was earlier decided to do so if Cusat is handed over to centre as IIEST. Now that plan stands cancelled, hence no question of allotment of seats for AIEEE holders in Cusat counseling. About the latter part of the qustion : The rank cannot be predicted with your mark in Cusat entrance.

It all depends on your aptitude. Both EC and Mech and scope have scope. As a boy you can select Mech if you want. Since you didn't mention about your studies only this much can be said now.

Yes, it is considered equal to regular BEd of Kerala.

If you do not have any specific interest in any branch, getting into one of the branches may be possible.
