Yes. If you retain the options for the second round, you will be considered for allotment in the second round even if you do not get an allotment in the first round.

It has not been announced it is understood.
On page 33,clause 11.2 of the prospectus it is given that 'ALLOTMENT TO S.F COLLEGES WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF SEATS AND WILL BE NOTIFIED SEPERATELY'.What does this mean?Don't we have to register options for pvt.S.F colleges along with Gov.t colleges? If I register 10 options of which 8th is a pvt.S.F college and I am alloted to 5th gov.t college in some other district, will the chance of getting allotment to near S.F college(here,8th option)be lost?

This is the time for Registration of options. All colleges included in the CAP are available in the home page of the candidates. It includes Govt/Aided/KAU/Govt Supported SF Colleges/Private SF Colleges. The SF Colleges are included as per the decision og government. You can now register options to the SF Colleges also along with the other categories of colleges. If you register 10 options and get the 5th, the chance of getting the 8th option will no more be there since you have got the priority 5 which is higher than priority 8.
Thank you for your response sir.I've a little confusion in an answer.I am repeating the doubt-AFTER ENTERING OPTION NO. S AND JUST CLICKING THE ''SAVE'' BUTTON,CAN I MAKE SURE THAT MY OPTIONS ARE REGISTERED?
Posted by Sina, Trivandrum On 09.07.2008
View Answer
Once you Click 'SAVE', the option registerd will be taken to the bottom of the page from the list, in the order in which it is registerd. You can scroll down the page and see the list of options at the bottom of the page. If it is there, the option has been saved. A list of registered options will also be formed on the top left portion of the Home Page. If that can be seen, it means the registration has been saved. You can take a printout of the options registered and confirm the regsitration.
Sir colleges under CAPE,IHRD etc are under CUSAT university right?
Does it mean that the syllabus of these colleges and the syllabus of colleges at Thrikkakkara,Pulinkunnu r same?

It has to be the same. Colleges run by a University and affiliated to a University should have the same syllabus for a course.

It is better to contact the placement cell of the college or some student/staff of the college to get first hand information. Usually all colleges have a placement cell attached to it.
