Sir,
My cousin has secured 962 rank in KEAM (Med). But she is worried that she has been alloted to Veterinary College in first trial allotment, which was one among the last options.Is there any possibility that she would get an admission in any medical colleges this year(Including private colleges in Govt. seat). There is no reservation benefits.Expecting a reply

See, only two Private Medical colleges have been included in the first trial. When more colleges are included the picture will change. Be optimistic.
SIR,my rank in kerala med is 2904 and in muslim catgory list its 675.now in the trial allotement i got at kmct{BAMS} which was my third corse i preferd.now i prefered to change my option list by making BDS as the first course and MBBS as the second choice.i am sure that i wont be getting mbbs as per 2007 trends ,so i prefer for BDS but this trial allotement make me desp.....so by doing so will i get BDS in the first allotement itself.....please reply

Do not get upset.. It is only a trial allotment. See nobody can predict things. One can only go by trends of previous years. The last ranks of 2007 are those that were arrived at after two/three rounds of allotment. That position may not be reached in the first allotment. You may have to wait. When some factor changes, the picture may change. Only a few colleges under MBBS/BDS were included in the trial.
Sir,I hav 3620 rank in KEAM(eng).In trail allotment Igot a collage in which last rank is 4905 as per last rank details. Kindly inform whether thr is any possibility 4 getting higher optns.

LAst ranks of 2007 published are those at the closing of admission and not that of the first allotment.
Could you please tell me what is the importance of trial allotment for btech courses..

You can assess the possibilites of getting allotment based on optiosn you have registered. If you feel that it is insufficient, you can register more. If you want to change priority, you can do that.

thank you for earlier answers but now i have doubt i am having kerala rank 2614 and when i checked last years the last rank for SCT(mech-merit) was found to be 4121 but when triall allotement came i got only SCT mech management seat which was a lower option sir could there be possibility that last rank may come to 2000 or so like what happened at aieee this year
i have another question if iget an allotement in first allotement and i dont want that college and i want to be considered for 2nd allotement should i join the college given first or just pay the fees and will i lose the first seat if no option given above that option is available in second counselling kindly explain

Last ranks of 2007 are those after 2/3 rounds of allotment. It cannot be expected in the first round. If you get an allotment, you have to remit the fee.If you are asked to join the college, that also has to be done to continue to be in the race.

You will be considered for the next allotment based on the optiosn that you retain.

If i have to wait for second allotment after getting allotment in a college which does not satisfy me,what should i do???what about the fees payment??is there anything like Temporary registration to a college...so that in case i dint get admission in second allotment i can return to the one in which i got allotment in the 1st allotment?Pls reply!!

If you get a seat in allotment 1 and pay fee and join college if instructed, that seat will not be lost unless you are given an allotment to your higher option in the next /further allotments .
My rank for the engineering entrance examination is 685. After first trial allotment ,I didn't get EE, EC or AE in CET. I would like to know whether there is a scope to get any of these branches in the expected college?

Many candidates who may not join the institutions having high ranks might have registered options. Only after one or two rounds, things will get cleared.
If i want to get the last rank details of the trail allotment which site i should go. Is any facility for that

Usually it is put in the same site where result is announced. SO far it has not been done. Contact CEE Office.
My question is if i get first allotment in a private self financing college (Engineering) will i be able to apply for re allotment i.e, 2nd allotment. Is any rule connecting for this

There is nothing like applying for re-allotment. Of the options registered, those options remaining in your option list after the first allotment- options with higher priorities than the one allotted, if any- will be your higher options in the next allotment. You have the freedom to alter their priorities, delete all or some of them within a stipulated time. All those higher options remaining in the Home PAge at the closing time will be considered for re-allotment.
