If you or your father/mother were born in Kerala, you will get Keralite status as per 2008 Prospectus.
Could you please let me know the criteria to be considered as statewise student (non NRI) in self finance medical colleges (MES,Karuna,Amrita, Pushpagiri, etc). If we join in 12th Standard in Kerala based school, is it OK? Is there any difficult to get seat for 12th Standard directly without joining for 11th Std?

If You were born in Kerala or if either your father or mother was born in Kerala, you are eligible to get the Keralite Status. Of course you have to give necessary certificates . If you study from Class 8 to Class 12 in Kerala, you would be treated as a Kealite for admission. This is the existing rule for nativity.

If you have got an allotment, and if you are not interested in this allotment or the future allotments you may get, you can cancel your present allotment. There are students who have joined Colleges (MBBS/BDS). If they are not interested in their admission and future allotments, they can cancel their admisison. In either case you will not have any more claims in that stream. From your doubt, it is understood that you want a change to Mechanical. So you must wait for the next allotment.
sir am waitin 4 the second allotment.vat are the futher steps i have to do.should i aiso send the cancellation form to the head office.. i have not done anything since paying the fees. what shud i do hereafter.. plz reply me sir

Wait for the announcement of the CEE regarding the second allotment. You should give the cancellation form only if you wish to cancel the allotment/Admission you have received. If you give that, you allotment/Admission will be cancelled and the claims in the concerned stream will be lost.
sir,
according to the news that we have to join the college before 17th,my friend made a call to the college where she got allotted and they told her to join the college before 17th with all the documents.and also told that they will not allow to join the college after 17th.sir do we join the college before any official announcement on this issue?why the govt. keep silence on this matter?after all this is all about our future.

Your anxiety is genuine. The CEE offcice has to guide the candidates on all these things. You cannnot join colleges based on the reports in press and instructions of the colleges, if you are allotted by the CEE. If you do so, it will be at your own risk. Let us hope and pray that some announcement comes from the side of the CEE office.
respected sir,
