sir,
few of your recent answers is making me more confused.My daughter got allotment in a govt controlled self financing engineering college under management seat in the cee first allotment. I have paid the fee of Rs.65000/-Now i want to know whether that allotment will exist? You have answered both yes and no to the same question of others. so please inform me the correct answer.we have submitted new options for the second allotment.Her rank is 20872. Can we expect better seats under self finance merit seat.Her architecture rank is 104.do we get admission in any colleges as per cee?

This is none of our fault. There is no guarentee of ensuring the already allotted seat, due to the change the CEE has brought about following court verdict. Pl.see, in the present notification also CEE alerts about the impending case in this connection in Supreme Court which will be heared by the court on 19th August. In your case we understand that the allotment was in govt supported self financing college. As such the chance for losing seat is very remote. You may re arrange the order of options so that the present option is given priority. Be optimistic. Nothing to worry. Pl. also note that we have not told anyone that admission is impossible. Your confusion is quite natural.Even the CEE has got confusions.

i got alloted to model engg colg,ekm for cs in the first allotment in reservation category in merit seat.....mine was the last rank filled thr......i paid the fees......is the seat i got there still valid......can i delete my higher options since i prefer this seat...?or is the second allotment kind of like a reallotment with all alloted seats in the first allotment cancelled?

Don't delete any option. You may rearrange the order so that Model engg.college is placed in a still higher position. Deletion is risky.

My rank in kerala engineering was 19066. I had already given options for first allotment,but was not considered. Now can I add options for the second allotment? If yes, can I add those options in between the ones which are already selected and save the newly added options? If no, then how to add new options and is it possible to rearrenge the options which were already give? Sir, my main doubt is whether I can add new options in between the options which are already selected and can I rearrange the options already given for first allotment. Please do reply,sir.

Don't delete any of your option. This is going to be the first allotment actually.

i have asked you a question and got the reply,but my doubt is not clear.

i got allotment in Govt.controlled self financing college(for management seat in EEE).
i like to retain the seat because i am satisfied by it.i know it is better to mark the allotted course&college as No.1.but i want to do an experiment by giving the No.1 option as Govt.seat for EEE and my alloted seat(ie,management seat for EEE)as No.2.is there any decrease in probabbility for retaining the alloted seat.i am in utter confusion sir.waiting for the reply.......

You can do so. There is no problem.
Sir, in the 1st allotment,i got into a private self financing college for CE.When we called the college authorities on 16th,they told that i should pay the college (other)fees and the hostel fees as it was the last day to do so.i also gave my certificates to them.As i am satisfied with this option,i was under the impression that i could delete all my other higher options and give only this one option for the second allotment.But today (18th) someone from the CEE called home and told us that it is not necessary that i should get allotted into the same college and that i should add in more options.If i do not get allotment into this very same college during the 2nd allotment ,will i loose my seat there?Can i still join this college even if i get allotment in some other college?Should or can i add in other govt. and self-financing colleges to my list?Thanks in advance.

We don't believe that somebody from CEE has called to your home and told so. Ask the college authorities where did you join about the return of fees and cetificates if another allotment is given to you by CEE. Without CEE's direction it is not possible for private self financing colleges to admit students and start classes. You can add more options defenitely.
Sir,

In the 1st allotment I was admitted to SCT [govt. self financing] College of Engineering for biotechnology (govt.seat) with fee of Rs.6200/- (which was given as the 1st option itself). Iam completely satisfied and do not wish any further changes.

Will my 1st alloted seat remain as such or is there any chance of loosing my seat? Is there any need to re-submit the options in the present allotment ??

Most probably it will be retained. But not sure, since allotment process is repeated. Better to add more options.

As the exact fee structure for engg courses is going 2 b announced on 19th aug is there any chance for the engg fee in both govt&pvt.self financing colleges 2 b raised?HAS THE FIRST ALLOTMENT GOT ANY VALUE NOW?sir,i have got alloted 2 a pvt.self financing college 4 eee in the Ist allotment and on their advice i joined there.they told that classes will begin on 26th aug.but in the cee website it is given that classes will begin on by 5th sep.will the classes start on 26th.please answer me sir.

In the case of private self financing colleges, this is going to be the first and last allotment. Date of beginning classes is 5th as per CEE. Anyway some of these colleges start classes on different dates. It eill be only orientation classes. Regular classes will begin only on 5th or another date which the CEE decides later.

Recently i came to know that the 2nd allotment by the cee will be just like the 1st allotment.When i opened my profile i could see all my lower oder options as such with respect to my 1st allotment.I got my 1st allotment to Nangelil Ayurveda college for govt. seat and the college is ofcourse a self financing college.If i didnt get any allotment in the 2nd allotment, will my first allotment be secured???

Most probably you will be getting the same allotment. If you are satisfied with this allotment try to change the order of options so that this allotmt comes to the forefront.

i came to know from the news paper that,the second allotment is actually like the 1st allotment.i also heared that there is no security for the seat that i acquiered during the first allotment.is it true?,if yes what can i do the best to retain the seat that i got in first allotment.(Now i got seat in management seat for fees Rs.65000 in govt.self financing college in first allotment.)

So far as govt supported self financing colleges you won't be losing the seat. Don't be panic.
