Posted by JOGIL JOSE, ernakulam On 20.08.2008I was allotted Indistrial Engineering (IE) in College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) through Ist allotment(Rank 1068) and remitted Rs. 6200/- as the requisite fees. I have two questions:
i. In the 2nd round, I have given Mech. Engg (ME) in CET as first option. As ME closed at rank 551 in CET in Ist allotment, what r the chances of getting an upgrade in the 2nd allotment? Would I have to contend with IE in the 2nd round also?
ii. As per Notification for 2nd allotment, students have to take admiission during 1-4 Sept. and classes would begin on 5th Sept. Can I join the CET after the Onam vacation, on or after 15th Sept? Whom should I approach for this permission?
Grateful for your advice.

sir
what is the latest news about that hearing held on 19th in the supreme court.
Sir,
I have given options consisting of ce,ec,and cs in different colleges ranging from govt. to pvt.self financing. But i heard that some colleges have accreditation that would be accepted only in India. So if by chance i get a chance to pursue my education in sme other place would my graduation degree go in vain?? How do i know whether a college has proper accreditation??
Pls clarify my doubt sir
Sir,
I have a rank 1328 for the medical stream in 2008 KEAM.I have MU reservation. Now the fees in self-financing medical colleges is 2,40,000 per year for MBBS.So if i get allotted to any of these colleges and there is no change in the fee structure i may not be able to join the course paying this high fees. I am giving options to these colleges with an expectation that the fees will again be changed to 45,000 by the supreme court. So after getting allotted and if i dont join in the self-financing college, will i loose my chance of admission even to my lower options like BDS?Will the supreme court's final decision come before the time for rearrangement of options start? Sir, i'm in an utter confusion. Please do give me a reply.
Query : sir i hav submitted 10 options in keam 2 nd allotment.if i get the 10 th option is that mandatory to accept that allotment,or shall i delete that and wait for the further allotments.(i had heard that i will loose any further allotments if i cancel the obtained allotment).my rank is 22760 and i got no allotment in the first round.

Posted by Arun, Palakkad On 19.08.2008thanks for ur response.....40000/- is the demanded fees in the muhammed committe...i ve one more doubt....is der any deposit along wid this fees (demanded)...?
Thnks in advance.
sir,
i had asked a question earlier about keeping the present allotment in the last and retaining the higher options. And i had asked if i would lose the present allotment. What i meant is that,if i still didn't get allotment to the higher opted ones.....i would still be alloted to the college first alloted, wouldn't I? else wouldn't i be risking everything for the sake of higher options?
and sir. U have been saying that this is going to be the first allotment itself.Do you mean that it is going to be the same procedure?
sir, I'm planning to get into SCT,tvm.(management seat)
isn't dat better than Calicut Univ.Engg.college(management seat), considering the money spent on fees?
Thank You
