Dear Sir
Thank You very much for all your previous answers. I have one urgent question sir.
My son was eligible in AIEEE 2008 with remarks as ' ELIGIBLE FOR CENTRAL COUNSELLING - STATE SPECIFIC & AI SC/ST/OBC CATEGORY' and consequently he deposited the fee and participated in first round and second round counselling. In the second round counselling he got allotment in Surathkal NIT for a branch which he was not interested and hence not joined and withdrawn the cheque of 15000/-Rs.
Now I could see in the AIEEE website counselling for vacant seat and asked to pay initial fee of Rs. 15000/-
In item 1 of the info. brouchure it is mentioned that candidates declared 'Eligible for Central Counselling' on the basis of AIEEE-08 are only eligible for the counselling. All the seats would be filled up on All India basis, hence state specific candidates are not eligible'.
Now my question is whether my son can apply for this by depositing the fee of Rs 15,000/- as per the eligibility of my son shown above.
Since he is eligible in AI SC/ST/OBC category, I still think he can apply for the vacant seats counselling.
Can you please give me your proper advise at the earliest, to take a quick decision on the above within the time frame.
Regards
Abdul Nazer
