The fee structure for the allotment of 31.8.08 is generally same as that existed for the allotment of 17.7.08 except for management seats in Govt supported medical Colleges. So there cannot be much change on account of that. But more colleges/branches have been included in the next allotment, Candidates who have not remitted fee based on allotment of 17.7.08 who have not registered options now after getting sanction from CEE, wil be removed from the process now.These factors may affect the last ranks. It can come down marginally.

but according to the last rank details of this year in SM the last rank for ec in adishankara and MES where 5420 and 6365 respectively.Thank you

Tastes and preferences of students may vary depending on many other factors besides the quality of colleges. For eg; the location, atmosphere in the college campus(heared from others) etc.MES Kuttippuram is of course one of the best colleges in the private SF sector.

Till now no official announcement has been made by the CEE to this effect.
sir,
in the last rank details published during the previous allotment,(the cancelled one),EEE for state merit at govt college KANNUR was not filled.does it mean that there is a seat vacant there?plz reply!!

No. It is due to the admission principles. Admission being on a state-wide basis, the merit seats there might have been shifted to another college in lieu of reservation seats without affecting the total merit seats in the state.
sir,
i have remitted the prescribed govt fee for engg course earlier.now in some newspapers it is said that the fee is to be remitted on 1&2 of september 2008.which fee do they mention?

Fee as per the allotment you get. If the fee for the allotted seat is higher you will have to pay the remaining amount. If it is less, you need not pay any fee. Balance amount will be given to you by CEE after completing all admission formalities of this year.
your answer those who are retaining their options in their home page but has not joined gov medical colleges till date will they be again considered for allotment gov colleges must have informed cee on non joining

All these replies are pertaining to admissions not made this year. That means, it does not cover admissions made to gov.medical colleges.

You can refere the link http://www.aicte.ernet.in/inst_new.html to know about the approval for MBA institutions, by AICTE.
I am a little confused that Btech in EC or CS would be better ?? Because I have good interest in electronics and computer.I heard that EC has more campus placement.I prefer a good job in kerala. Which field I select??

EC is more demanded by the students, may be because of the wider prospects it has. But CS graduates also have plenty of openings although it may be restricted to the area of computers. If you are prefering a good job, it is not desirable to stick on to Kerala. Most of the recruits thorugh campus placement s have their workplace outside Kerala. There are offers in the state also in some cases.Selection of EC or CS is not going to make much difference as far as placements are concerned. MSc in Computer Science is offered by Kerala University (see http://www.keralauniversity.edu/ide/pg.pdf) , Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar through distance ducation. It depends. In the allotment of 31st August such a major change can not be expected . To get a clear picture you will have to wait till the next allotment.

is there any certificate other than
TC,CC,SSLC certificate,+2 certificate,ADMITCARD,MARK LIST OF ENTRANCE,PHYSICAL FITNES CERTIFICATE is needed at the time of admision.please answer sir

These details are available in the CEE prospectus. See Prospectus of CEE- 2008,Clause 11.7 pages: 37 & 38. Also ask the college authorities where you get allotment about their requirements.
