It is true that maore candidates would get government seat if one amore allotment is made to Private Self financing Engg Colleges. But the decision not to make any more allotments is taken by the Government, the reasons for which are not known. If you are interested in Management seats, you will have to approach the Managent concerned. Appraise them of your financial position and request for a seat with govt quota fee.

Only the higher options can be re-arranged. No new option that was there earlier can be added to the list.

There will not be any more allotments to Private Self financing Engineering and Nursing Colleges as per the notification dated 31.8.08 of the CEE There will be allotments to other Priavte SF Colleges. If the CEE is not filling the vacant seats after the allotment of 31.8.08, it will naturally be filled by the Managements concerned.

NRI seats are available only in Self financing Collegs. In Aided Colleges, 15% seats are for Managements. You will have to contact the Management concerned to ascertain if NRIs are being admitted in that category. NRI seats are generally for dependents of NRIs.

Since the CEE has wnnouned that there would be no more govt allotments to Private SF Engg Colleges, the options registered to this category of colleges will not be there in your higher options.

Since you have not completed PDC, you can go for Degree Courses through Open stream. Calicut Universtiy in Kerala offers Degree Courses through open stream. You will have to appear for a entrance test. The test for 2008 is over.

This is a very general question. Thousands of Institutes are functioning all over the world. We have a large number of Institutions in the country also. It would be bettter to identify one spot/country and see the Institutions rather than go for all institutions outside the country.

It is not proper to go by last ranks of 2007, as fee structure in 2007 was entirely different from that in 2008. You have given options,So wait and see how the allotment comes. Regarding fee, if you cancel the admission within the stipulated time, the fee remitted will be refunded.
