Sir,
My rank in engineering is 6721. I opted CE as the 1st option. I saw that the last rank 4 CE in 3 or 4 colleges in 2007 was above 9000 (Only Govt colleges). But according 2 the 2nd allotment the last rank is 5474. Why this much difference????? Can i hope 4 a CE seat????? Pls reply...

Only after the allotment of 31.8.08 candidates took admission. Then only a clear picture of the accepted allotments would emerge. This in turn will be reflected in subsequent allotments. Moreover, the last ranks you are mentioning must be those at the closing of admission for the year 2007. This allotment on 31.8.08 was actually the first. Let us hope the pattern of 2007 continues in the coming allotments. Nothing can be predicted.

The Roll Number of the Examination will be there in your Hall Ticket as well in the mark list. Or else, you can contact the school where you completed the course for getting the Roll Number.

This is done by the CEE while making the final allotment. Income details may be called for by the CEE or the data already in the application will be made use of. You can contact the office of the CEE for details.

You can go for M.Tech after you B.Tech. IITs offer M.tech courses. College of Engg, Trivandrum/NIT Calicut has M.Tech in Electrical. So many Institutions are there offering M.Tech. You can go for the courses you have mentioned after B.Tech with EEE. Good luck.

Aeronautical Engineers work on the design and development of aircrafts to space and satellite research. Jobs can be obtained in Airline Services in all sectors as in well as aircraft-manufacturing units. The Defence services as well as Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) also employs Aeronautical Engineers. There is no information available as to whether the College you have mentioned is the sister concern of any other Institution.
