The Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Mumbai – 400 033, offers one-year pre-sea training course. B.Tech. degree holders in Mechanical engineering with at least 50 per cent marks are eligible for admission. You can get more details at http://iims.dgshipping.com/rtia/merimum/merimum.html. The related career options are those of marine engineer and navigating officer.
Thank You for your earlier replies at proper times. Now, I would like to know about deleting higher options. Sir, I got my 55th option at LBS Kasaragod and I am satisfied with the allotment. So, should I delete my options upto 54th or from 56th onwards?I mean which are my higher options which are to be deleted?

Since you have got your 55th option, the options from 1 to 54 alone will be left in your home page as higher options (if there are options to Private SF colleges in Engg and Nursing, they would not be there in the list). Options from 55 onwards will be removed from this list and so will not be seen. So if you are fully satisfied with the allotment you have got and do not wish to have any further movements, you have to delete all your higher options ie from 1 to 54.

As per notification of 31.8.08, no more allotments will be made by CEE to Government seats in Private SF Engg and Nursing College. If so, the managements concerned will be filling the vacant seats.
