Higher the qualification, better it would be. IT companies of late have been focusing on non-technical students to a some extent, may be they feel that the recruits will continue with them. Slight variations are there in salary depending on Technical/non-technical qualifications.

Why the CEE is not publishing the balance seat avilable for the third allotment.Can you please collect the data from the CEE and inform us the details .so that we can get an iidea about the thid allotment.

Please tell about the scope of civil engineering in Kerala. Do you think Civil engineering will be a better field for girls ??? campus palcements for this trade??

As long as construction work is there Civil Engineers will be in demand. In Kerala too, various Govt Departments recruit Civil Engineers. It is equally good for boys and girls. Placements for Civil Engineers include those in the IT field in addition to those in the Civil field. Avenues exist outside the country also.

First of all thank you for your kind previous information.I am asking about reservation of BPL students in forword community.You asked me to contact with the colleges concerned.But the college authority told me that there is no such reservatoin in this year.Then what should I do sir?

This information is not correct. Govt has issued specific orders. Hope this would reach the colleges soon.

The contact number from which the details can be had about he college are 04884-281670, 282070. No information is available on the affiliation of the college. It is given as University of Kerala in the AICTE site.

The vacancy position is not published by the office of the CEE.
my sister had got allottment for engg. course as per the first round . she remitted the required fees also. but as the college she got was not a prefered one we deleted the name of the college in the second option. in the second allottment she did not get any college allotted. we have sent the cancellation form duly certified by a gazatted officer to the controller of entrance examns. along with copy of receipt for fee remitted. but now time is given for addiition / deletion/ re arrangement of option. but no option is given in the CEE site for carrying out these activities. Should we cancel the allotment in the cee site also?

If the options that were left in the home page were to Private SF Colleges, they would have been removed from the list as there are no more allotments to this category of Colleges. But there would be the facility to register options to the newly sanctioned college, in the home page. The nature of cancellation you have done is not clear. If you have cancelled an allotment you have received, you will lose all claims in that stream. That also can b a reason for not having options in the home page. ,

It was Rs.38700/-. There was no deposit collected.
Drawing skill is needed for civil engineering??

Engineering Graphics is there for all branches in the first year of B.Tech. Building drawing paper is there for Civil Course. A Civil student would naturally have to do some drawing. But with the computer Aided Design available, special skills in drawing may not be a must. It can be an added advantage only. Do not worry on it.
