In todays keralakaumudi paper it is stated that assisia medical college kollam has got permission to admitt 100 students this year.is it true. option registration is closing today and medical admissions are to be closed by sept 30.then how the admissions are made to these seats?I am a candidate eagerly waiting for a medical seat. please give details

If it comes within the purview of CEE allotment, it will be announced by the CEE with facility to register options. As of now, there is no such notification.
Sir,
which one do you think is a better option:
1) EC in a pvt self financing college or 2)EEE in a govt engineering college?
I am willing to study either of these branches.
As I am planning for higher studies,I request you to clarify my doubt regarding the chances of both the branches.....

It may depend on the college you have in mind. Both branches have options for higher studies.
I am a keralite, my son is good in studies especially in physics and maths. I would like to complete his education regarding space studies. He is also intrested in space. Recently I heared about an institute that will be construced in Trivandrum some where that Botanical gardens. When will that institute start functioning and what will be criteria for admission there ?If I could get the details reagarding my question. I will be very thankful to your goodself.Thankyou.

The institute you are referring to is the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), which is a deemed to be university, set up under Department of Space, Goverment of India. It has started functioning in 2007 at Thumba, Trivandrum and will be shifting to the new premises in some time. It offers undergraduates B Tech programme in Avionics, Aerospace Engineering and five year integrated masters in Applied Sciences.During the last two years, admissions were from the extended list of JEE of the IITs. Sir, i have got 6268th rank in kerala entrance 2008.now i have been alloted civil engg at TKM kollam. whether it will be a better choice for me to join at Jawahar college of engg and tech ottappalam, for aeronautical engg. whether i have a chance for getting allotment for mech engg at NSS pkd in third allotment???

It is always desirable to study in a college of standing if you get a chance for that. Newly started colleges will definitely have some teething problems. But if you are genuinely interested in studying Aeronautical Engg in Kerala, there is an opportunity now to opt for that. Regarding the re-allotment to ME at NSS, the last rank there under SM now is 3311only. Your rank is 6268. May be a bit difficult, it seems. Last year it was 5087 on closing of admission. But nothing can be predicted on this. If you are interested in it, retain the option.

PRP College of Engineering & Management, Punnapra, Alappuzha, is a Govt supported Engg College started this year.
