The contact number for Jawaharlal College is 04884281670. You can send your request for cancellation of admission to the CEE through the Principal and get orders from CEE. If you do it now, there is no need to pay liquidated damages as per prospectus conditions since the admissions have not been closed. You can ascertain the position from office of CEE. IF admission is cancelled before closing of admissions, you will get back the fee paid.

It depends on the nature of the job. Please see http://www.nasajobs.nasa.gov/
will there be a final allotment to other courses like agriculture,fisheries..etc?
at the rate in which the admissions are going i am probably going to miss half the classes of the present allotment i have got...
there are so many students like me who are awaiting the final allotment to the other courses...
we are those students who have joined the courses and are not going for the classes because we have to pay extra money as hostel fees and that fees wont be returned if we go for another course...
why isn't any information on the further allotments being published?
there are loads of students out here waiting for their future career to be confirmed and i hope the government does something soon...
could you please inform me if there is going to be a final allotment and if there is then when is it going to be?

For agriculture, fisheries, veterinary etc one more allotment is expected. The last allotment done was that of MBBS and BDS only. Be patient. Why the CEE is not announcing a date is a BIG question, for which they are bound to answer.
Sir, I like to know in enggg which branch is better.how many option we can give.pl give you good suggestion for 4 option

It all depends on your taste. If you are interested in construction related activities, Civil Engineering would be ideal. But if you are interested in Computers, Civil will not suit you (although Civil Engineers use computers for their work), it may be computer Science or IT that suits you. If you are interested in machines, you may become a good Mechanical Engineer. So it all depends. Try to identify your taste and dislikes and choose a branch. If you can do well, any branch can help you to get a good placement. Then there are students who go for colleges rather than branches. Preference for branch in a reputed college may differ from preference of candidates in another college. Going by the demand of students, EC, CS, AE, ME, EE, CE, IE is the order of preference in College of Engineering Trivandrum. In LBT, the order is EC, AE, CS as per last ranks. So keep these factors in mind when taking a decision. In the option registration process, you can give as many options as there are.
SIR,
I NEED UR OPINION REGARDING D FOLL:
1.CS OR CE IS A BETTER COURSE.
2:KSD(LBS) OR KKE IS A BETTER COLLG.
WAITG FOR AN EARLY REPLY..PLS REPLY

Each branch has its own merits. You cannot compare CS with CE since the two serves entirely different purposes basically. If you have genuine interest for Computer Science, it is good branch for you but if your interest is in Civil, CS will not suit you. Basically a Civil Engineer deals with construction related works. Use of computers might be there in the process, but you need not be an expert in Computer Science then. Only two branches are common to KSD and KKE. CE and ME. In both candidates have preferred KKE over KSD. That gives an indication.
If some seats are vaccant after 4th allocation what will the goverment do? I missed out BDS by just 11 ranks. Any chance of getting admission in future.

BDS allotments by CEE has been closed. If there were any vacant seats that would have been filed by the managements concerned.

Proposal for alteration of date of birth in SSLC has to be submitted to the Head of the school last attended in the prescribed form that can be obtained from Pareeksha Bhavan Trivandrum. The documents to be submitted includes, Identification certificate from the Village Officer, in Annexure II of the form, Affidavit I in Stamp Paper to be signed in the presence of Notary Public, The birth certificate of the applicant and of brothers/sisters of the applicant, the extract of the admission register from all schools where the candidate has studied, SSLC original of the applicant, statement showing the schools where the applicant has studied, the challan of the remittance made towards the prescribed fee etc. Since rules can change often you have to act as per the instructions in the form obtained from the Pareeksha Bhavan.

With a rank difference of over 2000, it may be a bit difficult. That does not mean that chances are ruled out. If you have not given IT in the higher option, there is no chance for allotment to that branch. It may be a lesser preferred branch when compared to CS. But that is not universally true. There are candidates who can get CS in some college going for IT in a better college. As per preference of candidates, Wayanad Engg college is behind among govt colleges. But is it fast improving it is understood.
