Your son can improve his spoken English only through practice. He has to speak out. may be it can start from home. If the members of the family use English for communication, you will naturally develop the habit of speaking in English. Each one can correct the other in case of any mistakes. Slowly he should try to speak in public, may be a t a function in the school or in a gathering. Let your son learn at least one word a day. For fluency in English, one must have a good vocabulary. Let him read, Editorial page, Letters to Editor of English dailies etc.Communication skills can be improved only through practice and for that you can use any method which is convenient to you.

It is your right to keep your higher options. If the college authorities do not relieve you in case you get a higher option, you must fight it out and get the change. You can represent to the CEE, Admission Supervisory Committee or even take legal steps. If you are ready for that, you retain the higher options.

sir,
I heard that kerala quata of NIT calicut has removed. Is it true?

50% seats at NIT Kozhikode in 2008-09 was Kerala quota. The remaining 50% which was till 2007-08, other state quota, has now become All India quota from 2008-09, which can be contested by any candidate including Keralites. This is the position in all NITs. So there will not be any Kerala quota in NITs outside the state.

You are not required to do anything at this stage regarding options if you do not have any options left in your home page.

Admissions can generally be cancelled till closing of admissions. However, it is safer to contact the office of the CEE and get a confirmation on this. If you feel comfortable at Sree Budha, you may continue there. If not, you may think of a change. Remember the additional financial commitment you will have to bear if you join the Management seat.
