The first batch of MPH has not come out so far, it is understood. The course was introduced in 2007. You can get some information about the objectives of the course at http://discovery.bits-pilani.ac.in/mph/ . As per the information available at http://icai.org/category.html?c_id=208, there is a branch of ICAI at Calicut and not at Kannur.. Would be nice if you can elaborate.

I would like to know the following information. I was an MA economics student in an affiliated colleges of calicut university during 1997-1999.I appeared for 1st year and second year MA examination together in 1999. I could clear all the subjects of second year, but I failed in one subject of first year.I understand that i will have to write all the subjects of first year and passout in order to complete the course.Unfortunately its been a long time and syllabus has been changed.If I wish to write the exam in next year, how do I proceed.Do I need to give both first year and second year MA exam in the new syllabus OR just first year MA exam in the new syllabus? Please let me know.It will be really greatful.

It depends on the scheme under which the University holds examinations now. If the old scheme that you had taken continues even today, you may be able to attend the exam as per the scheme. But if the University has switched over completely to a new scheme and stopped the old scheme, you may have to go as per the revised scheme. This has to be ascertained from the academic section of Calicut University.

Centre for Distance Education, Annmalai University offers MBA through Distance Education. Visit www.annauniv.edu/cde for details. Kerala University has MBA through Distance Education. See http://www.keralauniversity.edu/ide/ide_prof.htm#prog . There are a large number of Universities offering this course through Distance Education. It is only a matter of identifying them.

Based on your Class X result, you can go for 3 year Diploma course and try for B.Tech through Lateral Entry. If you wish to go for a degree Courses in Commerce, you can go for Commerce related 3 year Diploma Courses and then for Degree Course in Commerce.

If it is the 'CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIP FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY
STUDENTS', the last date for CBSE students was 5th November. This was to be done at the site http://cbse.nic.in/welcome.htm . Online application could be submitted by the candidate only, after entering the exam related information of the candidate in the site. If you have not submitted the application and if CBSE extends the date, try then. In the case of ICSE/ISE and state boards, the notifications have not come yet.

Hope you have already gone through the link http://www.azeezia.com/medical/programmes.html Pl. note that nothing is mentioned there about govt allotment or govt quota. We will try to contact them and if any information is gathered will be put in the portal. We really understand the plight of students and their parents.
