I got admission in 2008 in a self-financing private college for BDS under the government quota of CEE 2008. Now I am eligible for new options as per the notification of the CEE on 18th of November. I want to know if I got an allotment in another college should I need to pay the whole fees for the five years to get my TC from the present college ( this how they have given in their prospectus)in addition to the liquidated amount of Rs One lakh.

Your point needs to be clarified by the authorities. AS per the Prospectus of the CEE, the liquidated damages for discontinuing BDS course is Rs.1,00,000. But in every possibility, the college may ask for the fee of five years, since they have to suffer the loss in fee due to the vacating of the seat by you. They cannot take another candidate at this time point to that seat. So it is better to get this clarified.
In the IIT JEE 2009 application form there are OBC(CL) AND OBC(NCL) categories. Is there any reservation for OBC(CL)? and, if so, is any cerificate required to be produced.
What is the income limit for OBC(NCL)? Does it exclude allowances other than Basic Pay for Government Employees? Kindly provide websites, if any, for details.

Recently, the Central Government has announced that the income limit for Creamy Layer will be Rs.4,50,000/-. Orders have been issued on it and it is available at http://persmin.gov.in/WriteData/CircularNotification/ScanDocument/36033_3_2004-Estt%20(Res).pdf
Seats are reserved in IITs for OBS (Non Creamy layer ). The income limit now is Rs.4,50,000/-It is specified that this amount is the Gross total income.
While sending AIPMT appln details of EXAMS PASSED were left unfilled.
\Is there a provision for correcting it or apply once again using another appln form?
\Pl advise at the earliest.

There seems to be no provision for correcting the data. This may not be a serious issue. There is an assistance wing at AIPMT office. See http://www.aipmt.nic.in/help.html for details. Contact and get a clarification.

I have passed the Graduate Diploma in Materials Management (GDMM -3 Year) from In Indian Institute Of Materials Management through correspondence course.This is recognised equivalent to bachelor degree for the purpose of Employment in Govt Departments and based on this I appeared for an interview of UPSC also.Now I wish to do MBA but the problem is that This GDMM is equivalent to bachelor degree for the purpose of Employment in Govt Departments not for Higher Studies.Please guide me to get an admission (recognised correspondence MBA) and get a recognition for Higher Studies .I have also passed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Pre Degree etc. from Kerala

Universities in Kerala offer Bachelors Degree through their Distance Education Centres. With these courses, you can go for Higher studies.
Could you please tell ,how is the procedure for admissions to b.arch cources in kerala .

Applicants desirous of joining the B.Arch Course will have to qualify in the Architecture Aptitude Test 'NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA). You can have the details of this test at http://www.nata.in/. For appearing for this test you will have to go by the directions of NATA. You will also have to apply to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations as and when the applications are invited. There is no separate Entrance Test conducted by the Commissioner. A rank list by giving weightage in the ratio 1:1 for the marks in the qualifying examination and NATA score is prepared. This list is the basis of admissions made by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. You will have to see the Prospectus of 2009 for the details.

Do not get worried over it. There is no chance of rejection of the application just on account of it.

Regarding IIT/NIT, is it very tough (compare to state engineering).

How many percentage marks requred to for entracne test - NIT /IIT.

for NRI quota - entracne test is required or not.

now my son is studying in class IX. to approach entracne now on wards how many percentage he should score.

Being an All India Entrance, JEE for IIT and AIEEE based on which admission is given to NITS is comparatively tougher as compared to State Entrance generally. The cut-off for being included in rank list will vary from year to year based on the scoring trends of that year, since only a specified no of candidates in relation to the seats available are included in the rank lists. But for Kerala Entrance, one can be in the rank list if 10 marks is scored in each paper of the entrance. For qualifying examination, the marks required is 60 % for JEE and a pass in qualifying examination for AIEEE. There is no NRI seat in IITs. NITS do have. But one has to qualify in the AIEEE.

I have completed my +2(kerala syllabus) in 2008 march, and I am now doing my first year b.tech civil engg in TKMCE Kollam. There was a news regarding a scholarship that is provided by the Department for higher education for all degree first year syudents in various disciplines. I have secured 93% aggregate(92% in science sub)and belong to non-creamy layer(OBC). The last date for applying was 5th nov, and i took the form from cbse site. but on 2nd nov, there was a news in mathrubhumi regarding the scholarship and was written that only cbse students require to send the application before 5nov and other students(state syllabus) should send to their respective boards with the prior notification that would be published later. but until now there is no news regarding that. what should i do?, give me the details...

Thanks for your answers. My daughter is now in Govt. Sponsered Med. College on Management Quota, but allotment through CEE. But now as per advice through Govt., CEE is going to make another allotment to Azeezia. If she gets allotment to Azeezia is it required to pay LD. Kindly answer. Thank you

Pl. see the report given in this matter in this portal. Now it is the main report. May be changed after some time. Details are given as to the payment of liquidated damages etc.

One of my relative is studying BDS course in Self Financing College on Merit seat. Now CEE alloted seat in Azizia Medical college.if the student studying in Merit seat will get allotment in Azizia, required to pay Liquidated damages ?. If so how much it will be .

As per Clause 12.2.4 of the Prospectus for Admission to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, 2008, the liquidated damage for those discontinuing MBBS course after getting admitted in a Government seat is Rs.1,00,000/-. However, it is better to get the amount confirmed from the college authorities.
