We do not recommend any books as such. One way of approaching the examinations is to answer as many question papers of earlier exams of KEAM and other examinations of a similar nature. Generally these questions papers may be available in market in the form of books if not in Kolkata, in Kerala. You try to get one. By this you will know the pattern of questions being asked at KEAM. You can also go through the Text Books of CBSE which should be available there. If you happen to be in Kerala after the Class XII examinations, you can attend some crash courses which would have a number of test papers conducted during a short period. This will enable you to get out of the fear of the examination. Good luck!

No one can guarantee this. But there are certain Institutes that offer jobs for candidates passing their course. One is IIST. As per the information at http://www.iist.ac.in/IIST/getPage.php?page=Admissionpolicy&pageId=34 , "The students who complete the academic programme with a minimum CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average ) of 6.5 will be absorbed immediately after the completion of the academic programme, as Scientist/ Engineer SC in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-275-13500 (likely to be revised with the new pay commission) in ISRO with a service condition of minimum 5 years". So if you can get admission for the academic programmes at IIST, you are assured of a job if you pass as required!

As per MBBS Regulations, "All parts of the internship shall be done as far as possible in institutions of India". So there should be some rules relating to the Hospitals where the internship can be done. More about it can be obtained from Directorate of Medical Education.
