My daughter has passed +2 with 97% marks and presently doing MBBS in one of the self financing colleges in Kerala. I understand that some scholarships are given by central/state govt and the last date of application has been extended to 31st Jan. May I know from where I will get the application form and what all are the documents required for it. What is the procedure for submiting it.

Visit http://www.collegiateedu.kerala.gov.in/pdfs/notif23_12_08.pdf for details. The last date is extended to 31st Jan. The announcement has come only today and it can be seen in today's PRD online press releases.

if its true its for wich board?
i have submited the appltn before 15th nyways...
but as the merit list was not available till 14 th in my school wer i did +2...i was nt able to fill in the rank in the list......and i filled der"MERIT LIST NOT ISSUED BY CONCERNED AUTHORITY" ...and forwarded the appltn.....
nw in case the merit list becomes available wat shud i do...?
shud i forward my details in the list as an additional document to ma appltn......

All students are confused so are the parents. The rank lists were not available so far. It is not known whether it is published also. There is a notification in dialies today stating that the date has been extended. The wbsite http://www.collegiateedu.kerala.gov.in/ is expected to give the detals. But it is silent on this. You contact the officials over 0471 2326580 . Now it has appeared in PRD website (online press releases)
sir, i am diploma holder in electrical engg. now i am working in uae, i like to join btech through distance education mode, i read in ur erliyer answers about nagarguna university, i will like to know this university is approved by govenment of india, and their cirtificate is going to attest by our embessyies in gulf. also i will like to know the details of any other university which is giving btech in electrical engg. through distance mode

Courses run in Diatnace mode are to be approved by Distance Education Council. As per the Informations available at http://www.dec.ac.in/, Nagarjuna University has approval. Thapar University, Patiala also runs B.Tech through Distance mode for Employed hands. Details are given at http://tiet.ac.in/dde/index.php . Whether the embassies in Gulf will attes the certificate is a matter to be aqscertainede from the embassy.

You have to contact the Thozhil Vartha authorities for that. You must have got the contact numbers of the designated authorities when you registered for the test. Try to contac them.

i would like to apply for central scheme of scholarship
i have 2 doubts...
1.is it compulsory to declare the income affidavit by the applicant's father.
is it enough to do the declaration by mother

2.is it enough to provide the bank account no. of parents

Income affidavit has to be given by the parent or guardian. It can be given by the mother of the applicant. Regarding the Bank Account, the amount will be given through a Bank in the name of the applicant. It will be credited to the Account of the applicant it is understood. So it may not be possible to have the amount transferred to the account of you parents.

I have received a letter(vide no:Sch.Q3/111338/08/Coll.Edun dated 23/12/2008) from the Director of Collegiate education yesterday(15/01/2009).It is informed that I am eligible for the CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIP FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS.
I downloaded the application form from this website.I have few doubts about the form:
1)Which is the last date of receipt of app;ication?

2) To whom I want to send this application?

3) I had already applied for Merit cum means scholarship.So can I apply for this scholarship?

Hope you will clear my doubts as early as possible.

Those getting any other scholarship are not eligible for Central Schlarship as per the details available at http://www.collegiateedu.kerala.gov.in/pdfs/notif23_12_08.pdf If you are a Kerala Higher Secondary candidate, your application has to be given to the Special Officer for Scholarships, Directorate of Collegiate Education (Annexue), Govt Sanskrit College Campus, Palayam, Trivandrum- 695034. The last date originally announced was 15.1.2009. But as per reports in press on 16.1.2009, it has been extended to 31.1.2009. But there is no information on this in the site of Director of Collegiate Education http://www.collegiateedu.kerala.gov.in/. So it is better to contact them over 0471 2326580
I am xii private candidate.Sir please tell me When did the hall ticket published or dispatches. Wheather I got it throw postal.A candidate who have passed SSCERT 2008 reappearing IMPROVEMENT EXAM - 2009 unfortunatly failled or scored mark less than previous year.then what will be the result.Pleas give me brief answer about the question noted above

There is no information on this. Last year it came out in February. This year too it may come out at that time. Anyhow visit www.cee-kerala.org regularly to get the updates. This portal also will give the latest information.
