View Answer
There is no reservation for Keralites as such. In 2008, 52 seats in B.E. / B. Tech. Degree Programmes in the Departments of Anna University Chennai were reserved for Other State Candidates. In addition 5 seats in B. Tech. Electro Chemical Engineering and Technology at Central Electro Chemical Research Institute, Karaikudi affiliated to Anna University Tiruchirapalli were also reserved. There is the Reciprocal Quota for keralites in other states. The admission for this is done through DTE Kerala and the applicant has to be in the Kerala Engg Rank List.

There is no provision for mutual transfer. But there is a provision for inter-university transfer after the first year subject to availability of vacancies and also rank of the applicants. Notification in this regard will be issued by the Calicut University in May/June. Please watch. Also see http://www.universityofcalicut.info/services/start.htm
