The eligibility for admission to Post Certificate BSc Nursing is generally a Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination and registration with any State Nursing Registration Council. Some institutions insist on experience in a hospital. Manipal University has invited applications for admission to the course. See http://www.mb4education.com/php/news_events_details.php?nid=7498&slinkid=2 for the details.
Sir,
Finally Entrance Reforms Committee recommendations were not implemented in KEAM 2009. Earlier an article published by this portal regarding this turned true.Is there any last minute possibility ?

The possibility for that , after publishing the prospectus , as you know is very dim. Even if the govt decides so it may lead to litigations. Policy decisions in matters like these will have to be taken sufficiently early.

sir,
I have a doubt regarding aipmt 2009. What does the following statement in the prospectus mean? ' It has been decided to implement OBC reservation in phased manner on the pro-rata basis in respect of seats being contributed to the All India ' .I belong to OBC and it would be really nice if u could help me.

Pro-rata means proportionately. A share of the seats under All India Quota was allotted to SC/ST candidates last year. Similarly, reservation for OBCs may be made proportionate to the seats being contributed to the All India Quota over a period of time and may not be implemented fully in a single year in all Institutions. The position will be clear before the seat allotment commences.

Provision for Inter-University/Inter-College Transfer is there after the first year. University will invite applications and based on availability of seats transfer will be given to identical type of seats considering the ranks of the applicants. Since you are looking for a transfer to Kollam, you must watch for the notification of Kerala University in May/June. If you are changing to a college under CUSAT itself, (since Punnapra College is under CUSAT) it is an inter college transfer. You must look out for the notification of CUSAT then.

B.Sc Nursing does not come in the purview of the Kerala Entrance now. Details of the admission for 2009 are yet to come out. Last year Association of Nursing Colleges that were not a part of the Kerala Entrance had conducted their test for admissions. Any way for 2009, the details are to come out shortly. You can join B.Sc Nursing based on your Higher Secondary result.
Sir,i am now doing bsc. maths.I would like to appear for the B.Arch of this year.Could you please give me the details of NATA.How to apply or when to apply? Is the Nata over for this year? Kindly help me with your valuable advice?is it good that if i am dropping my bsc.maths course and applying for the 5 years B. Arch course.I can't make a strong decision. Will it be a foolishness?

NATA 2009 will commence from 1st March 2009. Information Brochure, Pre-registration form & List of test centers will be available at http://www.nata.in/portal/default.aspx from 15th February 2009. You can get an idea of the nature of the test even now if you visit this site. If you are taking a decision to join B.Arch, then just think that it is a wise decision and go ahead. Never try to think of the past. If you are in the final year of your B.Sc course, it would be better to complete it and then think about B.Arch. You have to spend another 5 years on the B.Arch course.
My son in class XII wants to appear for the NATA exam. Is there any material available for the practise of it? Are the previous papers available?

You can definitely complete the course by clearing Part I English Papers. You will have to write the three papers and if the pattern that you studied does not exist now, you may have to go by the present pattern.. All this can be understood from the academic section of the University.
