In the KEAM application form, it is given to keep a self attested copy of the proof of nativity. If the father's passport copy is kept, who has to attest it, the father or the candidate?

The income limit for SEBC reservation is shown as Rs.2.50 lakhs in the prospectus for the Keral Entrance Examinations.But as per news paper reports the limit is Rs.4.50 alkhs. Please clarify, whether candidates with income limit upto Rs.4.50 lakhs will get reservation under SEBC?SEBC reservation

The Prospectus has been amended. So the revised income slab is 4.5 lakhs. See the Govt order at http://cee-kerala.org/engmed/2009/examnoti/sebc_45lak.pdf. So whereever, the amount 2.5 lakhs is mentioned in the prospectus, it can be changes to 4.5 lakhs.

I have gone through the KEAM FAQ. My daughter is planning to apply for NATA. Accordingly I tried to open NATA web site. Unfortuately I couldn't open www.nata.in. Could you please explain me the details required for appearing this exam as per last year.

The NATA is a test aimed at measuring the drawing and observation skills, sense of proportions, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking of the candidate related to Architecture.
NATA consists of two tests, a paper based ‘Drawing Test’ of two hours duration and a Computer based ‘Aesthetic Sensitivity Test’ of one hour duration.
For the Drawing Test, a question paper consisting of two questions –a free hand drawing and a memory sketch, will be generated by the Computer and printed for the candidate. Computer based Aesthetic Sensitivity Test measures perception, imagination and observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness, of the candidate.

NATA is being offered at designated Test Centers located at colleges/schools of Architecture in India. Test Center availability is subject to change. Applicant has to register for the Test at any of the Test centres. The NATA Pre-Registration form is available at the Test Centres and at www.nata.in.

ENAT will be held between 3.4.09 and 25.4.09. It is online test and the slot has to be booked by the candidate. Details are given at http://www.mb4education.com/php/news_events_details.php?nid=7498&slinkid=2

EZ has 9% reservation while BH has 5 % reservation. One way of comparing the possibilites under the two categories is to compare the alst ranks under the two categories. Is there any crash course for the NATA? Or any previous question papers? What i have to prepare for the exam? What all questions can expect? Is the date of NATA announced?

NATA consists of an online test and a drawing test. There are no previous question papers available for this. However, Commissioner for Entrane Eaminations used to conduct a written aptitude terst. You can try to get old questions of that from your friends. NATA 2009 will commence on 1st March 2009. Information Brochure, Pre-registration form & List of test centers will be available at www.nata.in from 15th February 2009. Practice tests are alos available at this site. You will get an idea of the nature of questions from this.
My daughter has studied up to 10 th std in cbse affiliated unaided school at Kuttippuram and continueing her studies for plus two in the CBSE school at trichur. Place of birth is not shown in her secondary school crtificate. But parents name is included. In order to show the nativity as keralite while applying for common entrane Kerala- 2009 shall I produce my SSLC showing the place of birth and supporting document as my daughters seconady school certificate showing the relationship since my name is mentioned as father in the certificate.

If your SSLC shows your palce of birth in Kerala, that along with the CBSE Class X Certificate of your child having your name in that showing your relationship with the child, would be enough for getting 'Keralite' status.
