There are 100 seats at JIPMER this year as per the Prospectus and 15 are under OBC category. The Applicant should have studied and completed their course in the schools located in India in the preceding two years. So you are eligible as per the information given by you.

MICR stands for Magnetic Ink Character Recognition. It is The machine recognition of numeric data printed with magnetically charged ink. It is used on bank cheques and DDs. It is the concern of the Banks and most banks these days issues MICR DDs. Just check with the bank before getting the DD. As per the online form for JIPMER both the names are to be given.

Those with a Pass in HSC with 50% marks is eligible. Also the age as on 1.1.2009 should be at least 18. Your date of birth is 12.9.90. So you complete 18 years on 11.9.08. So you are eligible to apply if these conditions are satisfied.

Depends on you taste for further studies. If you are not interested in Higher studies in Engineering, there is no meaning in going for M.Tech. If you are going for M.Tech natural choice will be the branch you are doing at the UG level or related ones. So try to identify how you think about your future and act accordingly.
