You have not specified the class in which your son is studying. Hope he is attending a Board Examination. There are a number of Boards conducting examinations. The pass criteria will vary from one board to another. Please give all details.

As per http://www.nttftrg.com/course_rec.htm, Diploma awarded by NTTF is equivalent to the Diploma Awarded by Department of Technical Education, Govt of Kerala for the lateral entry admission to second year B-Tech course, As per (i) G.O.(Rt)No.1303/2005/H.Edn dated, 1/8/05 and (ii) Letter No.ACB2/9851/05 dated, 14/11/06 from the Director of Technical Education Thiruvananthapuram.

There is provision for Inter-University transfer after first year, subject to availability of seats and also considering the ranks of applicants. Since you want a transfer to a college under Kerala University, you will have to apply when the Kerala University invites applications for Inter-University transfers, may be around June-July.
I have posted a qn on Friday.I got the answer. Now i would like to appear for UGC NET. For that i need 55% marks in M Sc.I have done the course in non sem pattern from Calicut Uty in 2001. I have no chance for improvement.Also for PSC tests , waitage marks system introduced.Is there any other option for me?

The scheme of examination of 2001, might have been discontinued by now. Another alternative might be to write the examination as per the new scheme. All these can be clarified only by the University. It is better to contact the University for a clarification.

The public holiday of 9th March has been changed to 10th March. It will a holiday for all. 9th March would be a working day for all offices and educational institutions. It is understood that exam centresin Gulf are there only for the Distance Courses conducted by Kerala University.
