If a university has recognition of DEC, what does it mean actually ? Is it mean -all the course offered by that university has recognition of DEC. it cannot be identified from the site of DEC , that which course of a particular university is recognised& which is not recognised .pls help me.i was checking the approval of university of madras, BA. Sociology.

If a University has DEC recognition , normally it means approval for all the courses run by that university. ODL courses of Madras university had the approval of DEC till 2007, as per the information in the site. Whether Mds Uty's ODL courses have approval at present is not clear. It should be checked with the DEC authorities by phone or email. So far as BA Sociology of Madras Uty is concerned, there should not be any reason to be panic. After all it is a five star (accreditation) university.

No doubt, give more thrust to board exams and only next to entrance test. About engineering colleges, pl. note that our standing policy does not permit us to specify some colleges from a group of colleges. One thing is sure. During the last many years after the allotment done by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations CET,Trivandrum was seen as the most demanded one. So also Trissur Govt Engg College and TKM college,Kollam(aided).
My friend is doing his final year diploma in Mechatronics from NTTF,Coimbatore. Can you please provide some information regarding the options for Higher studies in the field ,institutes offering such courses and the related job oppurtunities?

Courses in Mechatronics are offered at different institutions in the country. Mechatronics engineering (both BE and ME) course is offered by Kongu Engineering College, Erode. Mechantroncis Engineering (BE) by Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, Tamil Nadu and Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, Gujarat. Mechatronics Engineering is also offered by SRM Institute of Technology, Chennai, Maharaja Engineering College, Coimbatore and Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal and G.H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology, Vallabh Vidyanagar. The Vellore Institute of Technology offers M.Tech in Mechatronics. A Postgraduate Degree in Mechantronics Engineering is offered by Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University in Tamil Nadu.

Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), Chandigarh offers a 4-year advanced diploma in mechatronics and industrial automation, which is recognised by the AICTE. The admission is usually notified during February/March.
Sir, there is a test centre in bangalore for cusat cat 2009. but they have not specified the exact location of the test centre. from where can i get this information. please reply soon.

The centre may not be decided now. It will take some more time. You will be informed of it if you are an applicant. Anyway, you can contact the International Relations and Academic Admissions ( IRAA) section for this.

I passed 10th std on 2008 in kerala syallabus. I want to know that any universities providing multimedia courses (diploma 3 year ) in kerala or tamilnadu. I want to join multimedia, animation. Please reply.

There are courses in animation in the universities in Kerala. But thise courses are not diploma , but degree courses. Pl. join for plus one, if not already joined. After plus two you can join the degree courses. Otherwise you will have to approach private institutions.
