Nothing of that sort has been decided as of now. These are things which we will have to wait and see. There may be different views on this. As f now, CUSAT is there and it continues to be have a University status. The colleges affiliated to it continues to be so.
sir i am wriritng iit jee this year.Sir what is extended merit list? what was the min. mark last year to onclude in this list?

As per information givenat www.jee.iitm.ac.in, in 2008, "Aggregate cutoff for the Common Merit List was 172. Aggregate cutoff was determined to declare the required no. of candidates (1.15 times the number of seats available) qualified. No. of candidates qualified was- 7903. I have appeared for class 12(CBSE). Now i wish to go for CA. What should I do? Will it be good to do B.Com first? If so then which is the best college?

The new scheme being implemented for the CA course is given at http://www.icai.org/resource_file/155new_scheme_at_a_glance.pdf. Please go through the details there and take a decision. It takes more time to complete the course even if you clear the various stages in the first attempt. In such a situation, it is better to do the course at the earliest. If you go for B.Com and then for CA, you need to spent another 3 years to complete the B.Com course first.
My daughter wishes to do Post Bsc Nursing. She was finished diploma in General nursing and Midwifery. Please advise whether she can and the collages offering the course.

Those with 10+2 and GNM can do Post Basic BSc Nursing. The duration is 2 years. You can visit the link http://www.indiannursingcouncil.org/Recognized-Nursing-Institution.asp of the Indian Nursing Council to know about the Institutions offering this course.

The status of application can be checked at http://cusat.nic.in/dynamic/publicuser/statuslogin.aspx?index=0 by giving the registration number and date of birth. It will take some time for the status of the application submitted to be posted at this site, after the application is submitted. So wait for some more time.

You can contact the Department concerned in your college. Or else you can contact the senior students of the college. There are book sellers who collect the questions and bring it out in the form of books.

Last academic year,(2008-09) my son got admission to Mechanical Engineering in a self-financing engineering college affiliated to MG University.Now, is it possible for him to get a transfer in the second year(2009-10) to any college(Govt.,aided or self-financing) in Malappuram or Palakkad Districts which come under the University of Calicut-say,for example, NSS Palakkad? How to go about it?Kindly advise.

There is provision for Inter-University transfer in the second year subject to availability of seats in the Institution and subject to the ranks of the applicants. But the transfer will be restricted to identical category of colleges and identical fee structure only. From a Govt seat in a SF College to a Govt seat in another SF College. A candidate of SF College is not given a transfer to a Govt/Aided College.Contact the University concerned toget more details.
