You can take COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING under Section B in the AMIE Course. Visit the website http://www.ieindia.org/ of the Institution of Engineers to know more about the courses. You have local chapters in Kerala, details of which can be had from http://www.ietvm.org/locals.html. Please visit one of them and know about the formalities for enrolment.

The exam is in May end, you know. Issue of Hall Tickets is not yet started. Details about your centre etc can be accessed from the CEE site. The Provisional details of candidates applied for KEAM 2009 are available in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The candidates may submit their application number in the website for verification of their status such as Name, Exams allowed to appear, Centre of Exam allotted, Nativity status allowed and Category allowed. Complaints, if any, may be preferred to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, 5th Floor, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001, on or before 28.04.2009. No further change in Examination Centre will be permitted.

BSc Nautical Science course is offered by many universities. If you want to have only an idea of it just visit www.ignou.ac.in Vel's Academy , Chennai and Mumbai university also offer this course.

1.Training Ship Chanakya Karave, Nerul, Navi Mumbai - 400 706. It offers three-year B.Sc. in Nautical Sciences, which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai

2.Marine Engineering Research Institutes, Kolkata. It offers four-year Graduate Certificate in Marine Engineering

3.International Maritime Institute, New Delhi

4.Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. It offers B.Sc. (Nautical Science)

B.Sc Hons in Agriculture is offered by Colleges under Kerala Agricultural University. College of Agriculture, Vellayani P O, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 522 (59 seats), College of Horticulture, Vellanikkara, KAU P O, Thrissur – 680 656 (59 seats) and College of Agriculture, Padannakkad PO, Kasaragod – 671 328 (29 seats) offer the course in the state. You can get admission either through the Medical Entrance of the CEE or through the Agriculture Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR. See the Kerala Prospectus 2009 for details.

Education loans can be availed at any time. But you will have to provide sufficient proof to the extent that you have got admission in such and such college and a statement from college authorities showing detailed fee structure and the required time of payment. The amount,if santioned will be transferred to the college only and not directly to you. Ok? Meet a bank manager and discuss the modalities.

The university you mentioned is itself a shame to Kerala in so far as these things are concerned. Their website www.mguniversity.edu has been under "REVAMPING" for the last three years or more. If contacted, nothing will be available. If we get any information over phone,it will not be correct always. What to do? A number of students are asking this particular question many a times. Onething we shall do. If an official announcement is made by the university , it shall be carried prominently in this portal.
