Almost all institutions of higher learning in Engg offering M.Tech in Physics admit students based on GATE Score. There is generally no minimum cut -off for applying to an institution. You can apply if you satisfy the conditions stipulated. Admissions will be based on merit. Just go thoprough the advertisment at http://www.iitm.ac.in/newsupdates/300-mtech-admissions-regular-thro-gate-advertisement to get an idea on this.
Is CIEFL uty ,Hyderabad have distance programmes .If uty have this programme kindly give me the course details

Equal weightage is being given to the entrance rank and plus two mark for admission in the management quota in self financing colleges.

Dear Augustine, Couldn't you get admission last year. We remember your questions last year. Anyway, the information you wanted : Kerala Private Medical College ( Catholic ) Managements have decided to begin the admission process from June 1. We will carry that news item Friday. Wait.( 29/05/09). Their admission is to four colleges, namely Amala, Jubilee Mission, Kolenchery, Pushpagiri.

There is no relation between rank and mark. Suppose your son/daughter scores 160 marks . The rank depends on the overall performance of candidates who have written the exam. So comparison with that of previous year won't do any benefit.

In Kerala there is no approved centre for Cabin Crew course. Details can be had from the website of Director General of Civil Aviation ( DGCA ). Click here

Deemed universities , as their names indicate, are deemed to be universities. That means, they are conferred the status of universities by the UGC after considering their contribution in the field of Higher Education. But now a days this is being misused or used liberally sacrifycing the quality of education. They are autonomous institutions. Even in important matters like curriculum framing, examination conducting, valuation of answer papers etc there is no intervention from the part of govt.

If you get admission, poly is a good selection. For mechanical , almost all polytechic colleges have good workshop facility and faculty. Wish you all the best.
