In 2008, this mark of 280 for Engg got a rank around 3800. It need not happen like this in 2009.

Related to AIEEE 2009, It just means the conditions, related to marks, fixed by the CCB so that a candidate becomes eligible to register options for allotment.
1.My son applied for AIEEE2009. He blackened the NO bubble against the 13th (If physically Handicapped). He is not a PH.But in the admit it is seen that Category:OBC Subcategory:PH.Why it is so?
2.He obatined 45 marks in the exam.and permitted to fill up choices online for counselling-category OBC PH only.Can he fill up choices on line?

Since the copy of the application is not available to verify, nothing can be said as to how this happened. If the mistake is on part of the authrorities, you will get a chance to correct it at the time of online registration. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineers are needed by almost all Industries in various cadres like Design, Development, Fabrication, Inspection, Quality control, Maintenance, Service etc. It is a fact that girls have a low preference for Mechanical Engg. But there is nothing that prevents girls from choosing this branch if one is deeply interested in it. Core branches like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical have relevance always.

In 2008, this mark for Engg had a rank around 100. It need not happen this year. It may change either way depending on the general performance of candidates who took the exam in 2009. As per link http://aieee.nic.in/ccb2009/ORCR09/Engineering/Eng/NCAOrCr.htm, the closing rank for EC at NIT Calicut under HS category was 6147 in 2008.

In the recently published AIEEE result my rank is classified as Overall and Catagory in All India and State level. What is the significance of the catagory rank ?

The Category Rank just gives an indication as to where you stand in the category to which you belong. If there are 10 open seats under All India Quota at an Institute which is the most prefered and your Category rank under 'Open' is 10, you are assured of a seat there. Such conclusions can be drawn from category rank.
I am waiting for my keam results. I supose to get 222 marks in engg. Can I expect an rank below 10000, can I get into a govt. collage for MEC. with this???

In 2008, a mark of 222 for Engg entrance had a rank around 6900. It need not be like that this year. Visit http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/FinalPhase/lrank_221008.pdf to get an idea of allotments of 2008

In 2008, mark of 530 for Engg had a rank around 275 and a mark of 436 for Medical had a rank around 3800, which need not repeat in 2009.
