No candidate with rank around 1 lakh has got allotment at NIT Calicut in 2008 as per the website http://aieee.nic.in/ccb2009/ORCR09/Engineering/Eng/NCAOrCr.htm. As far as KEAM is concerned, in 2008 candidates with mark of 185 for Engg had rank around 10500. It need not be like that this year.

There may be Part-time courses, but not distance courses.

I have obtained 161 marks for keam 2009, will my rank fall within 15000? Also I would like to know if I have to send individual applications
to all self financing colleges for open merit seat also?

If the pattern of 2008 continues as such in 2009 also, a mark of 161 for Engg should get a rank around 13000. But there is no assurance that the pattern would continue like that in 2009. For allotment through CEE, no individual application to each college is needed.
pls can i know how many seats for kerala engineering college this year(only govt seats,self financing colleges that have govt fee)

The picture is yet to emerge. It will be available soon. Anyhow, there are Govt/Aided Colleges and Govt Supported SF Colleges which will have allotments through CEE. Details of such colleges are avialble in the Prospectus.

You can also visit the link http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/FinalPhase/lrank_221008.pdf to get the last ranks allotted for B.Arch in 2008.

First of all try to identify your strengths and weaknesses. If you are very particular of doing an Engg or Medical Course, think that way and take a decision. If you plan to do a Degree course other than Engg or Medical, it is time to apply for that.
