All India Quota seats for MBBS filled through AIPMT of CBSE is open to natives of all states (except as specified in the Prosepcts). You can opt for Medical Collges in Tamil Nadu also at the time of seat allotment.

You must have an idea on the nature of the job you are aiming at. Only based on that a clear answer can be given. There are many fileds you can enter other than Engg/Medical. Areas like Fashion Technology, Hospitality, Aircraft Maintence, Management, Defense, Para Medical, Accountancy etc., all provide jobs. Identify your interest.

The announced date of first round of counselling based on AIPMT is 12th June 2009. So results should be announed any time now. Watch www.cbseresults.nic.in.

This is done as per the guidelines issued by the Revenue authorities. For admission to Professional Degree Courses, Basic Pay and DA is considered in calculating Income for SEBC reservation.

It was around 30000 in 2008 for a mark of 86 in Engg. It need not be like that this year. You need 10 marks in each paper to qualify in the Engg entrance and find place in the rank list. This stipulation is not applicable to SC/ST candidates.
